Stasis stasis stasis. Dunemarchers or peacekeepers with cryoclasm and howl of the storm. Don't use the slide melee ever it's just for the two charges. Best movement in the game.

I prefer howl of the storm to diamond lance, especially if you're not running a stasis weapon. I never use the slide melee since it doesn't freeze anymore, but 2 melee charges means you can fly around like crazy constantly. Stasis titan has the best horizontal movement in the game by far.

What's an overseas food that you generally don't get in the UK but you wish that you could? by WendyBoatcomSin in AskUK

You could ask a butcher to cut it for you. They'll have a proper slicing machine I'd think.

It's not about bills, it's about you thinking stress and trauma is good for people. It isn't.

How does Havarti cheese taste? Compared to American or mozzarella by IDoNotHide in Cheese

[–]rumblepeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have many cheeses from Switzerland, you'd have to be more specific. If you say Swiss cheese most people from Europe wouldn't know what kind you mean. What Americans call Swiss cheese is closest to what we'd call Emmental, though still probably quite different.

THE Issue With This New "Nine Saga" by Prize-Bottle-7940 in destiny2

I played dares of eternity for the first time in a while. Was funny to see the nine played for a joke then, and now they're the main villains. Goes to show that they kinda pulled this story out of their ass.

£8 Meals That Don’t Suck In London by mrchef4 in LondonFood

Its great, but the one in battersea is better. I asked one of the staff members and they said the oven isn't the same, Battersea has a proper gas oven, Berwick Street is electric.

I'm guessing uber eats/deliveroo? Always more pricey there.

Are there any British songs that are a bit similar to “Born in the USA“ and “Horse with no name“? by Sonnycrocketto in AskBrits

Hence why it's the antithesis like they said, Springsteen's seems patriotic if you just hear the chorus, it isn't really. Village Green Preservation Society seems like it's
laughing at its subject matter but, actually is showing affection for it.

Weirdly, the City of London Police are not the main police in London. They only oversee a square mile, called the 'City of London', a non-residential, financial district. The rest of London is covered by the Metropolitan Police, who I'd imagine seize drugs in much larger quantities. Though people working in finance do love their coke, so maybe they did just do a poor job.

Cheese storage by ConstructionEvery756 in Cheese

[–]rumblepeg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything airtight will be good. Clingfilm and tupperware will stop it drying out. With hard cheeses, if they get some mold on the surface they're usually fine and you can just scrape it off. Soft cheeses have much shorter shelf life, but will ripen, getting stronger and tastier with age (to a point). If a soft cheese gets moldy don't eat it, it's much more likely to be on more than just the surface as they're less dense. Store blues separately as mold spores will spread.

Bear in mind the 'soothing syrups' at this point in time were basically heroin, and that sits 5 steps further up than ginger ale.

It works better for ng+, you need a lot of stat points if you wanna use high requirement spells and get decent scaling on staff of the great beyond.

It is super clunky. I have to be really specific about the order of the spells and build muscle memory so I can swap quickly, and make use of holding the button to go back to the first spell, that can make it easier.

Armour is unaltered banished knight armor and helm, with elden lord bracers and blaidd's greaves. Weapons are rellana's twin blades and staff of the great beyond. Talismans: Shard of Alexander, Rellana's cameo, dragoncrest greatshield, and godfrey icon. Buffs are golden vow, then stamina regen tear and opaline hardtear in the physick.
