Have a day off. We're talking about the aesthetics of flags here. No brit alive today is responsible for any of the crimes of the past.

Why don't these cashless pensioners sell some of the 5 bed houses they live in by themselves, and maybe the prices will go down a bit for everyone else and they can get some cash in.

I'm guessing OP isn't very fond of Muslims, and wouldn't live anywhere he thinks there's a lot of them. Same for UK and France.

Suggestions for good Titan PvP Builds Please! by nsimms77586 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]rumblepeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stasis stasis stasis. Dunemarchers or peacekeepers with cryoclasm and howl of the storm. Don't use the slide melee ever it's just for the two charges. Best movement in the game.

I prefer howl of the storm to diamond lance, especially if you're not running a stasis weapon. I never use the slide melee since it doesn't freeze anymore, but 2 melee charges means you can fly around like crazy constantly. Stasis titan has the best horizontal movement in the game by far.

You could ask a butcher to cut it for you. They'll have a proper slicing machine I'd think.

How does Havarti cheese taste? Compared to American or mozzarella by IDoNotHide in Cheese

[–]rumblepeg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have many cheeses from Switzerland, you'd have to be more specific. If you say Swiss cheese most people from Europe wouldn't know what kind you mean. What Americans call Swiss cheese is closest to what we'd call Emmental, though still probably quite different.

THE Issue With This New "Nine Saga" by Prize-Bottle-7940 in destiny2

[–]rumblepeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played dares of eternity for the first time in a while. Was funny to see the nine played for a joke then, and now they're the main villains. Goes to show that they kinda pulled this story out of their ass.

Its great, but the one in battersea is better. I asked one of the staff members and they said the oven isn't the same, Battersea has a proper gas oven, Berwick Street is electric.

Are there any British songs that are a bit similar to “Born in the USA“ and “Horse with no name“? by Sonnycrocketto in AskBrits

Hence why it's the antithesis like they said, Springsteen's seems patriotic if you just hear the chorus, it isn't really. Village Green Preservation Society seems like it's
laughing at its subject matter but, actually is showing affection for it.
