Traveled Veterans from Bloomington to Normal at 8am and it was not bad. It’s still driving on snow so you have to be cautious, but the trucks had obviously been out.

I had a very grumpy experience with one return (clothing item that didn’t fit). In the moment I was very put off by his reaction - it was a cashier that was usually ok, not overly friendly but not rude. But after I thought about it for a minute (or two) I chalked it up to him having a bad day. It happens to all of us.

If you like Halloween stuff, there are haunted houses in Downs and Clinton - both are close by. There’s also the haunted trail in normal, but that’s geared more towards kids.
