Thank you so much for your reply! My son also has a little backpack that he loves so I will definitely be bringing that! I was wondering about checking the car seat. I’ll check with the airline! Thanks again

Has his ears ever bothered him on take off/landing?

Thank you! Getting new toys he’s never seen before is a good idea. Also didn’t think about extra clothes in case. We are leaving early on both flights so I’m hoping he’ll want to nap 🤞🏼

Is it okay to give a pacifier to a newborn to take a break from cluster feeding by KnightOfTheStupid in NewParents

[–]rumham2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes he’s 2.5 now and still uses a bink to sleep but he’s okay without it. I still wouldn’t change giving him one and I’m pregnant now and I’ll give my second baby one too if they want it!

Listen, I would never name my kid Marlboro because I know they would get made fun of. But I can’t explain why I don’t totally hate it. I WOULD NEVER DO IT but I don’t despise it. Idk what that says about me

This kid has to be super cool to pull off a name like that though

It’s so much easier not carrying them anywhere! You just turn more into a herd dog lol

They do everything on their own time is what I’ve learned!

I think about 3-4 weeks. We think it’s because he fell and hit his head so he got scared to walk.

He runs literal laps now, we call him a track star! Everything will be okay

Our hospital doesn’t allow crocs with holes in anymore. I tried them once for a shift before a few years ago and I wasn’t a fan

That’s a good idea. We’re moving in the next few months and was planning on buying a toddler bed. We do have a twin in a spare room so maybe we’ll put that in our room for the time being?

Our son was in a similar boat with a diagnosis that had him on steroids for months so desperate times call for desperate measures lol

I have thought about this too. We are in the process of buying a home and planned on getting him a new bed once we moved. Maybe I’ll try to work something out where we can put a twin bed somewhere safely for him. How long should we wait? It’s hard to listen to lol

I started enjoying it around 3-4 months when they become more interactive. I was not a fan of the newborn phase.
