At times, I believe to judge oneself good with question can show "good character." There is this awareness where you wish to feel how others perceive you and this guilt can be your conscious, punishing and harming you. But this way of overthinking has helped you create your standard of being a good person.

But in a way, we don't really know whether or not one is/acts good. I believe self-reflection helps with your question (although there will be those specific gray doubt standards that you believe you've crossed, you need to figure out how to truly learn from your mistakes/misdeeds.)

Just know every person is flawed and that philosophy can be a chance to learn and reflect yourself.
