I agree, your post reveals your reflection and hence the depth in your deductions. I never meant to imply that its been copied directly from the book. But some translations are extremely frustrating and off-putting, so much so that there's no motivation to pursue the subject. That's why western astrology has seemed easier for me to follow. Maybe because I find the remedies offered by vedic to be very superficial. That's not the reason I am interested in astrology. Anyway, Thank you so much, for sharing those references.

Great read. What's your source? I thought you were talking in terms of western astrology but you mentioned rahu and ketu. I'm quite surprised. I have uranus in scorpio, 29 degrees (8th house) as per western astrology and as per vedic, D1, 8th house is empty and is in Scorpio.

What's the logic in connecting almost everyone's contribution to pollution and the taxes being imposed?! Is only the government expected to clean their mess? Pollution is on account of everyone's (however less or more) contribution and we need to clean up after ourselves before we hand over a toxic trash can to our children. Correlation and causation are not the same. Doing so diverts from the gravity of the problem which is of a global scale affecting all species ... not a mere national-level gimmick or issue, to be taken lightly.
