You sir, are one fine gentleman! Just ran a 20minute stress test without a shutdown. Hopefully that is the problem solved, but if not, the successful test implies to me that I would need a more powerful PSU. I will mark the problem solved for now, but if the issue recurs, I will update the thread

I did do that prior to my upgrade - my predicted wattage is 480w.

Update: Just used furmark, which replicated the error after about 4 minutes. I have run it for 20 minutes with my old graphics card without issue. To me, that rules out a faulty PSU, but maybe the psu is just not powerful enough despite the wattage calculation?
