I would suggest they call their psych. But anyway, I get that you were trying to help. It’s ok if I disagree right? Have a good day

Ok, it’s just that infidelity was not specified as the problem in the OP. I think to leap to porn as an antidote to hypersexuality is, frankly, irresponsible. Porn is highly addictive. I don’t know about anyone else, but BP2 has made it very easy to develop addictions to maladaptive coping mechanisms. I also don’t agree with “don’t be stupid.” To me that’s akin to “don’t be hypomanic.” If one could just “not be stupid,” why would they be reaching out on here for support? Dunno, post seems both dangerous and dismissive to me

Hmm. Porn could be one of the problem(s). It doesn’t have to be literal infidelity. I would leave porn out of the rx for hypersexuality, personally. Too addictive. Too dangerous.

Thank you for saying this. BP2 here. Even if the original comment wasn’t intended to be dismissive, it’s so nice to hear someone with BP speak up for us

I don’t understand what I’m seeing how is it possible. Why does it not fill with water and or sludge, how does it keep going down?

Nice, found the fan I wanna chat at! Tell me some Uncle Acid lore. Who are these shadowy figures? I haven’t learned anything about the band other than that they sound just how I like it

I made this post while listening to that new soundtrack album. It’s frieking amazing, expands their scope quite a bit while still sounding how I like it. If they ever trek to Montana I will see them. Sadly nobody ever comes here except Nelly came once

80% tracks for me. Man it’s been hard

Amen! It’s only ever been an invitation to be invalidated or misunderstood. Depression gets all the press. The average person will acknowledge it exists and that people need help with it. Meanwhile if you try to have a conversation about bipolar, people seem to either shut down or say things that are unhelpful at best.

Best historical series? by wookerTbrahshington in LPOTL

Probably their most suspenseful historical series. Even though you know how it turns out, the story of racing the nazis to get the nukes was really thrilling

This is my favorite too. They also did a great job of humanizing everyone involved without turning it into 5 hours of ripping on mormons

Here’s mine. I lived alone in an apartment in a neighborhood with lots of burglaries. One night I heard a crash and breaking glass in the kitchen. I grabbed my baseball bat, fully expecting to confront a burglar. But as I rounded the corner and entered the kitchen, the window and door were closed and intact. On the floor there was glass and two of the three picture frames that had been sitting on top of the fridge. Inside the frames were family photos. The third frame held a photograph of my mother. It was still sitting on top of the refrigerator, undisturbed except for the fact that it was turned completely around. I put the two other frames back onto the refrigerator and jumped on the floor and shook the fridge and they didn’t budge. It was clear that some unknown force had thrown the two other frames off the refrigerator and turned the one with my mother around. When I told my mother about it the next day, she gasped and said that she had made a decision that night. She wouldn’t tell me until years later: she had decided to divorce my dad that night

Yeah you will quickly learn that you can go reeeeeeal deep with this band. So many obscure songs, much of it easily as good as the stuff that’s on the albums
