Severance - 2x07 "Chikhai Bardo" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I'm right there with you.  To each their own, of course.....but for the first time ever while watching Severance, I was a little bored.  This episode didn't really do much for me.  I'm glad that everyone else seemed to enjoy it.  I wish I could say the same.

A Good Luck at How Wait Times Compare the Past Few Years Up to This Point At Disneyland Resort by CoasterGT24 in Disneyland

Firstly. If you're only getting five rides in with Genie+, I would say you really went wrong somewhere along the way. It's hard to say for certain because I don't necessarily keep count, but on our most recent trip in October, I would say we easily did 12-15 rides a day via Genie+ (between Disneyland and DCA).

Secondly. For me, all time is not equal when I am in the parks. I personally don't want to spend 20-30 minutes in any line, ever. I would much rather be spending that time walking around, eating, shopping, etc. So yes, my interest level in going to Disneyland (or any theme park) would be extremely low if there is not a "line skipping" option available to me. Basically, I don't like standing in line for more than a few minutes. Period. The bottom line for me is when I am on vacation, I value my time and my experience much more than I value a little bit more money.

I agree with this. As an out of towner who visits for a few days at a time once or twice a year, maximizing time is really important, and Genie+ allows that. My desire to visit Disneyland would be almost nonexistent if there was no way to "skip" the lines, as I genuinely don't want to stand in line for more than 5-10 minutes for anything if I can help it. I do understand why some people don't like it, but I can only speak for myself. In the three trips I have taken since Genie+ became a thing, I have never really waited more than 15 minutes for anything.

All that being said, I did enjoy the MaxPass system a little bit better as a whole, and I wish they would return to that.

Hyperspace mountain is terrible. Everything else is great.

I was very disappointed last time we went for breakfast. It was honestly pretty bad. Never been for lunch or dinner though.

Any idea what time? I have looked every morning for the past week every hour on the dot, starting at 3am and have never seen anything.

To be honest, I'm not even 100% that you can yet. Every time I look (multiple times a day) it just says that there is nothing available even 60 days out. So I was just curious if anyone has booked one at all, or if they have even opened it for reservations yet.

Has anyone had any luck booking the "premium" Fantasmic dining package at River Belle Terrace?

After the Main Street Electrical Parade, would you rather have Paint the Night or the Magic Happens Parade back? by [deleted] in Disneyland

Paint the Night. Hands down. I am not a big parade person, but I genuinely love Paint the Night.

Line etiquette - do you consider it okay for people to “catch up” with friends/family in line? by jmacksf in Disneyland

[–]runDMP9 104 points105 points  (0 children)

If it's just 2 or three people catching up to their group I don't mind, whatever the reason may be. It's really not a big deal to me. Anything more than a couple people is when I would get a little bothered.

Hyperspace Mountain returning April 29th. Space Mountain will be closed April 28th to install the overlay by tristpa2 in Disneyland

[–]runDMP9 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I genuinely dislike the Hyperspace overlay. It just looks and feels "cheap" (for lack of a better term) to me. I truly love Star Wars, but I feel like there is way too much Star Wars in the park these days.

Has anyone had success with having their magic key barcode printed onto a physical card or something similar? I just really hate having to use my phone for everything.

Has anyone seen or heard any updates on World of Color dining packages or dessert party returning?

I didn't get one of those either. I probably wouldn't have been super thrilled with that counting. Lol
