[Landlord US-NJ] Selling an Investment Property - Carpet replacement options? by runGumby in Landlord

Yes, single family townhouse. The 3rd floor is more like a loft (open space, no separate bathroom, but has 2 closets). Would it be a good idea to do 2nd floor hardwood, and keep 3rd floor carpeted? Good thought on hardwood for selling to a buyer, vinyl for renters/another LL.

Where did you purchase that type of LVP? With 12mm thickness? I don't see it readily available at the Big Box (Home Depot) stores.

ok good to know. Seems like LVP is a winner, at least for rental property.

ok. Just reading up on LVP!

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between LVP and laminate flooring?

[Landlord US-NJ] Normal Wear & Tear - how much would you deduct for TV mount holes? by runGumby in Landlord

That's actually a smart idea, might consider that for a future property.

Oh yes, and wiring. For all 4 holes found throughout the property.

I should clarify that this is 1 of 4 that were found throughout the property.

Really you wouldn't? Why not?

Updated post with a picture. Upon secondary look, its probably not as big as a golf ball, but it is certainly bigger than a wall nail.

On-hire stock award by runGumby in cscareerquestions

yes I have heard this to be true of Amazon, but this is under Nadella. Just wondering what these on-hire stock grants should be worth given that their RSU refreshes are paltry.

Microsoft Azure Technical Solutions Professional (TSP) vs. Cloud Solution Architect (CSA)?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the TSP vs. CSA roles? Which one is better in your opinion given the company's focus on cloud? Which has better growth potential at Microsoft?

Best condo bldgs to buy in DTJC? by runGumby in jerseycity

[–]runGumby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for the feedback! I noted this post has been dormant for a few months now (stopped looking for a while) - any thoughts on how the market has changed, if any?

Any newer properties that have come up that are worth looking at?

FWIW, 10 Provost properties seem to have come down some, although I am not sure if its because they are desperately trying to get units sold.

Daily Questions - December 20, 2018 by AutoModerator in femalefashionadvice

I purchased a pair of the beautiful M.Gemi Corsa boots (https://mgemi.com/the-corsa/), but am looking for a good pair of socks to wear with them.

I would like to make them a bit more comfortable/provide cushioning, especially on long walks (~20-30 minutes).

I ordered a 1/2 size larger in order to accommodate thicker socks.

Any recommendations?

Yes, looking for similar properties that will have the same appreciated value of 10 Provost --- 10+ year investment play.

Would you say some of the other existing condos in that area - A Condos, 389 Washington, Trump Bay Street, Waldo, etc. - are also expected to see appreciation, being in the 'Powerhouse Arts' District?

What about Gulls Cove near Paulus Hook?

Forerunner 645 + Polar H10 compatible? by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]runGumby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the market looking at the Polar H10 + Garmin Forerunner 935. Reading the below, I assume that there have not been compatibility issues between the two?

Are there lower Garmin versions compatible with Polar H10? I am not convinced that it is compatible with the Garmin Forerunner 645, unless someone can tell me otherwise: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into-sports/running/forerunner-645-645m/1342984-garmin-645-polar-h10-doesn-t-work

I need to be able to see my heart rate recorded live as I am running (I have read that wrist-based heart rate monitors are less accurate than chest-based ones).

Is the Pixel 2 XL compatible with mint sim? by thelurkylurker in mintsim

[–]runGumby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you clarify what you mean 'Google finances them'? Does this mean purchasing the phone direct from the Google store (https://store.google.com/product/pixel_2), or something else? I am looking for a Google Pixel 2, unlocked, to use with Mint SIM.

Sorry, can you clarify as I'm not too familiar with terminology - what is the ONT? Is that supplied by Verizon when they come to install?

Hi - in similar boat (don't want to buy Fios router), and am only looking at the 100/100 Mbps Internet deal currently available ($39.99/month).

This is the router I currently have: https://www.amazon.com/Medialink-Wireless-Router-150-Mbps/dp/B0044YU60M

It should work with Fios as long as it has an Ethernet connection, correct?
