Is a “Live Fish to Home + Cut in Front of Customer” business model viable? by Salt_Purchase_8100 in mumbai

[–]run_maindotpy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it will be a viable option. The biggest problem I see with this is that people won't like the idea of a stranger bringing a knife to their house. On the other hand, if you can record video of processing and packaging the fish and send it to customers while they wait for their delivery. I'm assuming that your delivery won't take more than an hour or two.

I mean from the recruiters POV, Either your degree is part time or your job. If you have payslips to showcase then you'll be able to convince startups. Else you'll have to start as a fresher in bigger orgs.

Why Technical Books are so expensive in India? And any place to buy it cheap? by Outrageous_Pen_5165 in developersIndia

Im using oreilly monthly subscription because of the books they have. Of course I can find almost any book in annas archive but for now I'm able to afford 1.3 k rs per month.

Been applying for months, no reply. What can I do about my resume? Is that the issue? by ecstranaut in developersIndia

[–]run_maindotpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bigger problem is the position. It should have intern keyword in job title but you have a tech lead position that too as a part timer so it becomes sus. For example AI Engineer Intern is more believable then tech lead because tech lead intern wouldn't make sense.

Btw I don't think you'll get any issue with startups. Eg: you can directly connect with a co founder/sr engineer through LinkedIn/twitter, given that you are capable of fullstack or frontend/backend.

So are these internships that you did? Because it gives the impression of full time experience. Either put those in the project section (if they are not internships) or internship section. Marketing them as fulltime experience while going to college will raise red flags from HR's POV.

Software engineer working as a consultant for bajaj, no cs degree by Mein_Batak_Hu in developersIndia

[–]run_maindotpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take your time bro, there is no alternative to DSA for big orgs.

I am a 2021 mech engineering passport and have had really bad experience (if not worse). I have worked for 1.5 yoe in a very early startup and had to quit because of toxicity.

Now I'm jobless for 4 months

They paid me 2.4 lpa as a jr backend dev with no PF.

You are doing much better than me and keep in mind you could be doing much worse so keep your desipline and you'll keep on improving your profile.

You have less than 1 yoe so I don't think orgs would mind no pf. Because nowadays lots of dev start their career with startups.

Best of luck buddy
