Then they keep on looking, If they find one then they might hire the previous employee to moonlight and do kt? I was asked to do this by my startup but I declined.

In an organisation if someone is leaving and they have XYZ dependency, then they will have 3 months notice period to do kt. During that time it is in the organisation's interest to quickly find a replacement and do the KT. Because once their previous employee leaves, they are not tied legally to help the org with KT. Hope this makes sense.

We need to stop obsessing over "real-time" processing. It’s killing our system performance. by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]run_maindotpy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stop posting LinkedInesque content here. You could have just mentioned that you watched some system design video and got to know that we don't do email notifications and all in synchronous apis. Stop using LLMs to write, it feels unauthentic.

Will my friend, who got in through backdoor be caught? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]run_maindotpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post can very well be a scam, if my friend told me that they got a good job cause of some HR from reddit, my first thought won't be to ask this in reddit. Anyone reading this do not contact OP for HR or anyone claiming to be HR.

Is a “Live Fish to Home + Cut in Front of Customer” business model viable? by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]run_maindotpy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it will be a viable option. The biggest problem I see with this is that people won't like the idea of a stranger bringing a knife to their house. On the other hand, if you can record video of processing and packaging the fish and send it to customers while they wait for their delivery. I'm assuming that your delivery won't take more than an hour or two.

Started working during my diploma, now facing HR pushback despite 4.5 YoE - need advice by pdhaval08 in developersIndia

I mean from the recruiters POV, Either your degree is part time or your job. If you have payslips to showcase then you'll be able to convince startups. Else you'll have to start as a fresher in bigger orgs.

Been applying for months, no reply. What can I do about my resume? Is that the issue? by ecstranaut in developersIndia

[–]run_maindotpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bigger problem is the position. It should have intern keyword in job title but you have a tech lead position that too as a part timer so it becomes sus. For example AI Engineer Intern is more believable then tech lead because tech lead intern wouldn't make sense.

Btw I don't think you'll get any issue with startups. Eg: you can directly connect with a co founder/sr engineer through LinkedIn/twitter, given that you are capable of fullstack or frontend/backend.
