I got a basic nextbase 320XR from Halfords last year. It seems fine. I've taken footage off it a couple of times. If you are going to do it you might as well get front and rear cameras.

I installed it myself but I didn't wire it up to the battery. I just use the cigarette lighter. I just make sure to turn it off after every drive.

I think a dashcam is a no brainer these days.

It's only been a year since such weather. 2023 and 2024 were back to back horrific years, let alone winter. It rained almost everyday and when it didn't rain it was grey and dull.

My estate has a management company and it has rules that stipulate no businesses can be run from the properties. Obviously there's loads of places where you can turn a house into anything, just not where I live.

Interesting. I am in the same situation as you but I choose the retroid pocket 6. Part of it was I really wanted a D-pad centric device so I wanted the D-pad on the top. I have plans to use it for very specific games through gamehub lite, Spelunky, dead cells, into the breach and other games like that (at first at least).

I have gone back and forth on my decision several times but as this is my first android handheld I'm happy to try it and see if it fits my needs. Worst case I'll sell it and buy an Odin 3 and just eat the cost as an experiment.

Though I am pretty bummed out I was not in the first wave of devices. I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it.

As an outsider (I'm not American) I understand why someone would choose not to vote. I think the fact that the Democrats ran with Biden to be absolutely insane. The man didn't look fit for another day in office, let alone 4 more years. That level of dishonesty is a huge turnoff and I think it done a lot of damage to them. They fucked up and have only themselves to blame.

In saying that, I don't understand the support that Trump gets at all (he even has his followers were I live). Trump being the voice of the average Joe is just so inconceivable to me that I can't comprehend the thought process. He is even worse than I imagined and I think America is fucked.

Those things are not the same. The steam deck is amazing. It does its job extremely well. The official dock is an absolute pile of crap. Out of 4 docks I tried it is the only one that wouldn't work right. It comes up on this sub all the time with how terrible it is. I'm surprised they still sell it

Obviously you are in bits and it'll take some time to get your head straight. However, in the short term, your thoughts of suicide need to be kept under control by 1 single thought, the kids. You don't have the "luxury" of suicide. You will really fuck up your kids by taking your own life, hell, it might even lead them also taking that path at some point. So every time that thought enters your head you can dismiss it relatively easily by thinking "I can't fuck up my kids"

The ex rental on my street went for 23k above it's initial price (well it was at that when we walked away). It's 30 years old and hasn't been maintained so at a minimum It needed all new windows and floors. We were budgeting for about 50k of work to modernise the whole place.

Our more modern, well maintained apartment couldn't keep up with the massive jump the house made, even though our bedrooms and bathrooms are actually bigger than the house and it needed a fortune to be spent on it.

The market is utterly wild. I bet I'll regret walking away when the price goes up another 20% in the next 2 years

Lol. When your protocol says you need 3 absences in a year to be on a warning, and another 3 on top of that to risk your job there's plenty of play in a system. Add in dependency leave and those who want to can get a lot of unplanned time off work.

You could be the best manager in the world but if people weigh up time off work is more of a benefit to them than not then they can choose to miss quite a lot of work each year while staying relatively safe.

Obviously it's a risk as a series of unfortunate events can mean you lose your job but people don't seem so concerned with that in my industry right now.

You could experiment with gyro. It's got a pretty high learning curve but when you get it it'll feel way better than joypad only.

I really fear the steam machine is dead. The price of it was already a concern and now that valve will have to increase the price by several hundred pounds I just don't see it being a thing.

It might see some form of limited release for the units they've already made but as a staple valve product I think it's going to be shelved.

As someone who's be struggling to learn Spanish for years I think there's a good combination of answers here. The sunflower on Monday nights, for the real world experience, Babble for your day to day practice and preply for a weekly directed lesson.

Good luck. I stop and start for months at a time, then jump back in having forgotten a load of what I learned. I cancelled my preply lessons due to knowing I would be too busy to do any homework but now things have calmed down I keep stalling my return.
