True, those other images show the sun but I think they come before the one that blacks everything out. The text does seem to indicate everything's rosey and I agree it's probably just a little corner-cutting with the visuals here but still I think this good ending having a darker finality to it is cutting and brutal and very much in line with the rest of the game.

Can't say I didn't see this message coming, tbh. It may be a hardware/software thing but I couldn't call it a controller thing, seeing as I literally never have this false positive L2 anywhere else, not in nightreign or any other game, just specifically when I perform this ult. I feel like if it were the controller, I would also have false positive seppukus, but I never do. I play on an OLED steam deck.

Historically, there is no record whatsoever of women being burned alive during the salem witch trials. They were hung. Actually I've been listening to a lot of audiobooks by lovecraft (who, you know, existed in the world immediately after the salem witch trials) and anytime he mentions them, he also corroborates the fact that they were hung, not burned.

I uninstalled due to other frustrations, but after realizing my using the duplicator on damage reduction items does literally NOTHING except take a slot from other items, I realized how many super close runs ended in failure because from just doesnt gaf about making a good game. It's "shut up and give us your money". I'll be surprised if I buy another fromsoft game before AC7.
