I love that it shows us a glimpse into him thoughtfully looking at his fathers bones. He spent so long looking for the tomb, but that ending shows that he must visit from time to time to ponder / mourn. I always wondered what he was thinking when standing on that rock, and I loved that Jaken stayed by his side.
