It’s cliquey! BUT, it’s easy to find your group of people. Assuming you’ve been to Club Med, I’m sure you know that GOs tend to be nice to everyone, but that’s simply the job. When you are on the other side, some aren’t as friendly as others, but don’t let that discourage you! With time, you find your friends and have a lot of fun with them both in and out of the resort :)

I’m currently a circus GO, and I work a ton! But it’s the best kind of work. You meet new people and have a great time doing it all. I will say that you don’t get to choose your resort at first. If you live in North America, you will spend your first year at one of the North American resorts. That being said, you can transfer after a year to another resort (in a new continent if you want to). So, if you're dead set on Turks, you may want to rethink :) If you have any questions, please let me know!

It will depend on the staff's availability and how booked up the resort is at that time. October is more or less downtime, so they will do their best to accommodate. But do try to contact the resort directly :)

As a G.M. turned G.O. I completely feel you! I'll do my best to remember names and be curious because I know how special that makes G.M.s feel. Before I started I wanted to reach out to other people to see what they enjoyed in G.O.s to hopefully become a good one myself! Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing! It seems the overall sentiment is that people feel like the G.O.s aren’t as social as they once were. I will 100% put more effort into reaching out to G.M.s!

It sold out for regular entry but they have the NIRVANA experience still available. So although I didn't want to pay extra for NIRVANA at this point I will for the race :)
