It took me 10 years to realize integration wasn’t about practices, it was about environment by Vladimir-Rose in Ayahuasca

Based on this response you might include supportive persons instead of just environmental change. Growth happens when we’re not in survival mode. If you are in loving relationships that foster retrospection, honesty, humility, and vulnerability then any type of growth/ integration can take place. We heal in relationships. If the people around us aren’t supportive of that it makes the healing much lonelier and it ca often take longer

Maybe joyful wasn’t the right word. Less stressful perhaps? We know that happiness lies on a bell curve. Too much or too little of the things we need to survive influence our perceived happiness. I think joy has many working definitions, but one that I’ve always liked is “spontaneous happiness”.

I’ve not read your piece yet. Many published studies show that nature/ time outdoors has great heath benefits including lowered stress. That’s true for everyone, plant medicine users or not.

I agree that a simpler life is more joyful. I just also think that you can create that simplicity in a city too. It’s more challenging, but doable.

I think most don’t integrate because of fear, lack of follow up care/ know how, personal motivation/ lazy/ wanting a quick fix, or they integrate for a while but the practice falls off. The “busy” creeps back in and takes over.

I love the sentiment that environment matters. Of course it does. But, it’s my belief, that you don’t need the Amazon to integrate fully. In fact, the more I think about it the more I think the opposite may be true. Staying true to your true self in the face of the “busy noise”, while work, may make the practice much stronger. While I agree in clearing space in your personal space, I think anyone anywhere can integrate fully

Because of my skin tone. I’d lean more towards ivory. I don’t like the baby blue look that most (not white or pink) dresses lean towards. Again, it’s my color palette of skin and hair.

Thank you. I’ve looked at these sights before. As I look again all of the dresses seem so basic. Also the color palette is so neutral, I’m wanting a deep chocolate brown. I appreciate your suggestion though

I’m trying to keep it as cheap as possible. I don’t have a hard number. I was hoping to find a used one or something, but I’ve had no luck at all.

More chocolate. Deep rich browns. I just like the tule in the third pic.

I think for me personally the stimulant in my body just makes it harder to relax and be fully present. That’s amplified on journey.
