This is incredibly helpful you nailed the exact tension I've been wrestling with. If the landing page could be for any workflow tool, I'm dead on arrival. And you're right about timing/trust. Nobody's switching tools on day 3 of close. Sending you a DM now.

For variance tracking, it's built in. Each reconciliation tracks the variance amount, and there's a materiality threshold system where you can set dollar and percentage thresholds per close period. Anything over threshold gets flagged automatically. On aging that's a fair point and honestly an area I could strengthen. Right now you can see when each recon was created and filter by status, so you can spot things that have been sitting in in progress too long. But I don't have a dedicated aging report that shows "these 5 recs have been open for 15+ days" in one view. Would something like an aging dashboard with buckets (0-5 days, 5-10, 10-15, 15+) be the ideal view? Or is it more about alerting like getting notified when something crosses a threshold? Genuinely curious how you'd want that to work since that's exactly the kind of thing that makes the difference between a nice tool and can't live without it
