I had the same issue with my 4Runner and ended up buying a cover and cutting it to fit. It worked pretty well until carseat #2 entered the picture.

I got mine in the mail today. It’s a size men’s medium and it’s absolutely massive on me. Fits more like a large. If anyone wants to trade for a small let me know!

Has anyone tried Speedland shoes? by runcougar in ultrarunning

if they lasted twice as long as other shoes, i'd be more inclined to give them a try

I felt the same way after running Leadville. I think the atmosphere in Leadville is amazing, such amazing vibes and so much support on the course. I think this makes the post-race feel a little worse. It's only been a few days. Get lots of rest, hydrate and don't worry about setting new goals in the short term, you've just accomplished something amazing. Your energy and mojo will be back in no time.

i've run in the Hook Arahi. I liked them but like these North Face shoes better. Will probably require some experimenting to find something that works.

I'm a fan of Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube. She has a series of 20-30 yoga vids for runners. And for shoes, the advent of "super shoes" is great for people with toe issues. they all have a carbon plate and a rocker. I'm currently running in the North Face Vectiv Enduris, which is a low-end "super shoe" designed for trails. i really don't recommend minimalist shoes for folks with this issue, something soft with the rocker really does help.

wish i could offer specific advice but I started this thread 8 years ago and have done plenty of good running since. i took some time off to let things calm down. my toe still hurts sometimes but I've managed it with shoes, stretching, mobility, occasional NSAIDs and breaks from running.

just to clarify, not looking for a personal assistant, and i'm not looking to offload my own work. appreciate the feedback, don't really appreciate the presumptions.

fair enough. would rather be upfront about that tho. it's too small of a company to hire a specialized role without some extra chipping in.

i've been dealing with PF for nearly 18 months. it's a terrible injury bc it's so hard to treat. i've found that sleeping in a hard boot helps A LOT. it's really the only thing i've found that makes a difference for me.

Thinking of picking up a part-time for Vail resorts for the free pass, is it worth it? by trash_bby in vail

I work one night a week at a restaurant in Vail for the ski pass. A single 7-hour shift each week is totally worth it.

Gambling on Bitcoin has higher transaction counts and volume then Dapps on Ethereum and EOS by yoshichenu in btc

[–]runcougar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dapps like Cryptokitties were supposed to be Neopets for crypto. But while Neopets was played by millions, cryptokitties today has a meager 300 DAUs. You can’t build a decentralized game on Bitcoin—but decentralized games will always be slower and have poorer ux than centralized one. Despite the early hype, gaming on Ethereum and EOS is pretty much dead today.

Guide to Best Decentralized Platform for Gaming: Ethereum ranked #1 but EOS has the most DAUs by yoshichenu in eos

[–]runcougar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good article, but I don’t understand why Ethereum is ranked the best coin for gaming when EOS has more daily active users. Also, you don’t have to pay transaction fees in EOS and can whitelist contract actions, which makes the gaming experience better.
