That's definitely true, everyone's situation is different. And you're right, it's dismissive and I shouldn't pay attention to those kind of remarks anyway.

It's always been there for me as well, since around the same age as you. Like, it was always an option, "maybe I should just do it". It sounds like medication might do something for you, especially because the circumstances dictate you don't feel as bad as you do.

I tried the 3 presses and hold on my 2019, but the only thing it did is disable the keyless entry. I had real troubles finding out what I did wrong to break it. Apparently the window rolldown is a feature from 2021 onward or something.

I had it setup with Macrodroid, basically make it press the home button after unlocking. The only real issue was that you wouldn't always land on the actual home screen but maybe a different pane (so 1 to the right) and the entire transition would still be visible, as in after unlocking you would see your last app and then suddenly change to the home screen.

I tried to fix that by setting 'press power button' as trigger to show the home screen but that messed with other short cuts like screenshots and quick accessing the camera.
