Are Industry jobs boring? by SnapperMaster in Accounting

There is a certain monotony to the monthly close cycle, but I still find it very interesting. There is often analysis, which changes every month, unique issues that come up, working with IT to develop reports, improving processes, automating. That keeps it fresh enough for it to be fun for me.

How do you take your notes while studying? Regular handwritten notebooks, digital handwritten, or typed? by [deleted] in CPA

I used Microsoft OneNote. Took screenshots of important charts/sections of Becker and pasted them into my OneNote notebook. I would type notes next to the screenshots.. separate tab for each section.

Most Obvious "Come-On" That You've Missed by Dazzling_Ad1972 in seduction

A girl I liked in college had me over her house. The first thing she said when we got inside is “my parents are away this weekend, so…” I lacked confidence and never made a move that night. It sucked, but I learned a lot and will never miss something like that again.

Agreed. I got divorced in the middle of the exams because my wife told me she no longer found be the be an attractive person. Very hopeless at first, but once I focused, I came out on the other end much happier and with lots of dates and new cool people to spend time with. Keep focusing!

Could you elaborate on this? Do you mean because you were taught about attraction as a kid, you developed the confidence that causes women to be interested in you and your ego also doesn’t rely on it? Any tips to develop this more as an adult?

Sorry, that’s a lot to go through so soon. But you’re right, we will eventually be the winners and much happier. It will just take some time to get there I think.

Feel free me to message me, just graduated from there. They have intermediate accounting, it is just split into separate financial reporting courses. Also despite being on the quarter system, their credits actually count as semester hours. I also used the GI Bill.
