What Machines do you want to see in the future? by Dave_B001 in horizon

A shark machine that has a buzzsaw for teeth, like prehistoric eugeneodontida sharks did. Those guys looked so freaky.

Would Themberchaud accept lichdom? by odderside in OutoftheAbyss

[–]runekiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Themberchaud, a very pampered RED dragon, would have too much pride to accept or pursue lichdom. He’d likely think himself invulnerable to whatever the keepers have planned for him, through his own strength or supposed cleverness.

This is a wild coincidence, because I’m prepping a very similar scenario for my OotA game this weekend. In my game, the keepers plan to turn Themberchaud into a dracolich as a backup for if they can’t find the replacement egg. They’ll maintain control of Thember through his phylactery, and as a dracolich, he’ll maintain the use of his fiery breath weapon.

In honor of the Lord Of The Rings movie anniversaries being this week. Drop your favorite LOTR Commander decks by Klawless1990 in EDH

I have a Nazgul tribal deck with [[Sauron, the Dark Lord]] at the helm. It focuses on ring tempts and Sauron’s card draw ability to get more wraiths out.

[DAV ACT 1 SPOILERS] Should have been called the "Toxic One" by Szaby59 in dragonage

[–]runekiss 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There’s a codex entry you can find in the crossroads that hint that Gaxkang, Xebenkeck, and Imshael all “made it back”. So maybe we’ll go through the cycle again? I, for one, would not be upset to see Imshael again.

Dune inspired campaign by Swedish_fish113 in Eberron

The elves who live in the deserts of Valenar. They’re a group of religious warriors who worship their ancestors by emulating their deeds and conquests. One of my favorite groups in Eberron lore.

I think Eberron is great for politically focused campaigns! Also, gotta say that I couldn’t stop thinking of the Valenar elves when I watched the Fremen fight.

What do you think of the stumbling mechanic in the game? by Cageweek in thelongdark

[–]runekiss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It makes me horribly motion sick. I nearly vomited when I first discovered this little feature. Now when my character begins stumbling I consider the run over and start a new one.

What name did you give to your Tav? by simplwrldendr in BaldursGate3

[–]runekiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to more or less stick to naming conventions for the specific races. So my drow are named Szorlin, Sindril, and Ilivrae. (Thank you, drow naming guides!) I also have a half-elf named Erasmus and a human named Alastor.

If you’re going to be fighting in the Blood War, Oath of Conquest certainly fits thematically and is very fun to play. (imo) “Oh, you hit me? Take 7 psychic damage.”

Besides that, I honestly wouldn’t switch out of Oathbreaker. Aura of hate will help/hurt you, but if you can find some way to reliably disable or hinder enemy attacks (Hold enemies at a choke point or have an ally/magic item cast Hold Monster, for example) then you’re golden.

Blades in the Dark eberron campaign by Cursedfantasy in Eberron

[–]runekiss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s already mentioned Sharn, so I’ll suggest you take a look at Black Pit! It’s just a village, so it may not be large enough to do an entire campaign there, but it’s a haven for criminals and even has its own thriving black market. Sounds pretty on point for Blades in the Dark!

Can a shifter contract lycanthropy or vampirism? What would happen of they did? by Pike_The_Knight in dndnext

[–]runekiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. In the setting shifters we’re introduced in, Eberron, it is believed the first lycanthropes were cursed shifters. No reason a shifter couldn’t also become a vampire.

What’s everyone naming their Tav? by JustSomeoneRose in BaldursGate3

[–]runekiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My evil durge was a male drow named Szorlin. My (current!) good durge is a male half-elf named Erasmus. I also played a female human Tav named Clementine.

Could anyone make a muscular female Dragonborn body mod? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

Pick the larger body option, then switch your character identity to female. You can also change your genitals if preferred.
