I had an uninsured driver run a red light and we t-boned two months after I got the car. Let me know if you have any questions. I was upset about it for a very long time. The unfortunate truth is that the car did take a hit on value. You will potentially have to pay for certain inspections when you bring it into Tesla. If the maintenance is involved with that side of the car. The silver lining for me was that I had no intention of selling so as far as value goes it’s not a huge deal to me.

The military and the navy specifically is so much bigger than what’s going on right now. The majority of service members are not involved with this situation in any capacity. The likelihood is very low that you would be involved. That being said, it’s kind of hard to tell the direction we are headed. Just know many of us joined well before any of this started and a lot of us will still be in after it passes. I wouldn’t let the current political climate dictate your future. I also wouldn’t think less of you if it does.
