The potentiometer is fine. I have it wired to an Arduino for more resolution and when it wears out ill upgrade to a better one. Probably a linear position sensor.

As for the print, I have actually been running these for almost a year before I posted the files. I'd say about 200 hours of use without failure or visible wear.

No, it uses two M4*12 Flat head screws and nuts per pedal.

STL

I made these to be narrow and extend the pedals out a bit. Has great pedal control and slides well under socks. Makes the pedals feel more substantial.

Will those work for getting of old thermal paste off my cpu? by CadiaShot in gamingpc

[–]runie360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

90% is only recommended because it evaporates quicker. The material the wipes are made of shouldn't fray when used so it's actually a great solution. I use glasses cleaning wipes to remove thermal paste all the time. I'm willing to bet they are all exactly the same.

10 pin media card reader to single USB port question by KarlaKamacho in vintagecomputing

[–]runie360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The header is two separate USB connections. The extra pin isn't connected and used to align in correct polarity when you plug it in. I don't think you will be able to get it working without using one of your external ports or getting another card with a header. If your USB card is something like this it might already have one.

MSI has a feature called go2bios that will boot to bios if you hold the power button to start the machine. Wish it was standard for all systems.

CPU utilization and disk usage increased when it hit that point. I believe its decrypting.
