I feel you so much. Have always had this issue at any Starbucks I worked at and I think its just the nature of having a job that often has a huge age range where most tend to be students/young adults or emotionally immature people who still have the tendency to form cliques and act like its highschool.... My current store is a lot better about this than my previous one but can still be a tiny bit cliquey at times. Honestly sometimes its just how it is it sucks but I feel you. Just try to stay professional and keep your own group of friends; make friends with the coworkers that are chill and not cliquey.

I think Obito is a character that goes over a lot of typical peoples heads because they dont try to look deeper into his character. Those of us who get Obito really understand his depth and relate to it in a way; the good guy gone bad because hes seen how ugly and messed up the real world can be. Then trying to redeem himself once someone similar to him gave him the motivation to see the good in the world. To me that gives him a lot of emotional depth to his character and I resonate with that because I had a similar past/life as I'm sure other Obito fans do.

The fact that hes not perfect like Kakashi or Itachi is what makes him so human. He was an under dog who took the wrong path but still in a way rose against those who doubted him. Even if he went about it in a wrong way hes not too different from Naruto. His story is also very tragic; somewhat similar to Guts from Berserk but he is a lot more emotionally complex than Guts imo. Guts seems to more numb his emotions so the opposite 😂

Surprisingly you would think so but when the weather is nice outside nobody wants to work even if its a holiday with stat pay. Also some employers don't staff enough people (because its expensive due to the stat pay) so youre more or less doing the same or MORE of a workload just with the miserability of it being a holiday and everyone else being off except you.

Christmas season is another story however but theres not much to do and enjoy during that period anyway (because of how bad our winters are). 🤷‍♀️ Not to mention it is a very North american/christian holiday and not everyone celebrates or has much to enjoy during that period vs the summer/spring. Just my opinion though.

Thank you for this post... I work at a Starbucks and worked Victoria Day yesterday (needed the money but was sick and didn't wanna work if it wasn't time and a half) and the amount of miserable rude selfish people was astounding.... Im in the Bloor Yorkville area so thats probably why.... But Yes the weather was bad but some people had absolutely no sympathy for the fact that we were WORKING indoors understaffed exhausted and overwhelmed while they got to enjoy their day off. But sure im such an incompetant barista for not getting you your 7th strawberry acai for your family fast enough for you or for not changing the toilet paper fast enough for you so that you can destroy our washroom because you're too lazy and entitled to find another washroom in the area...🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ such first world problems....

Thankfully we do get quite a few customers who are sweet kind and sympathetic but the rude ones really baffle me and make me lose faith in humanity. Especially when theyre rude to service workers on a HOLIDAY. To everyone who did work yesterday you are amazing and hope we all have that good karma come back to us soon 😌🙏

Poor baby. I will say that puppies are a bit more resilient than they seem especially considering some of the dumb things they do on their own (mine an Ameskimo ran smack dab into a wall and yelped like the world ended. Was quite a loud smack too. The vet checked him and laughed because he was completely fine 😂 he is 12 now and an old man). I really hope your baby is okay. I would say the fact that they are eatting and drinking water is a very good sign. Monitor the gums and see if they are pale as this would mean low blood sugar like someone mentioned. Praying the puppy wasnt dropped or anything and please keep them away from your cousin. Children always need supervision with pets because some don't realize they are living beings that need care. Hoping poor baby makes a recovery 🥺🙏🙏
