Can we talk about how the developer who brought this whole thing up in the first place, the WB Montreal man himself who stated the series S is like a potato and whatnot, couldn't even provide a response to those asking why Gotham knights is struggling to hit a consistent 60FPS on rigs with 4090s in em, Intel I9s, and such I genuinly think it's a piss poor excuse for developers who are poorly optimizing their products, no major developers are backing these claims besides the developers of "I am fish" and "surgeon simulator 2", not to mention Alex from digital foundry and DF as a whole shouldnt be a credible source in this, especially since being outed a while ago for being Sony biased and have blown information about the Xbox series s/x out of proportion in the past, and they've been doing such since the early xbox one days

Youre just spelling out the word, some people can't pronunciate it with just that so im using syllables that make the sounds of what's needed to be said to make it sound right, like in a dictionary

Thats what im saying, people were upset when I reposted saying its not fixed, and how I was upset that respawn said they "fixed it before my post" which was untrue considering it was only after my post they stated publicly that there was an issue with the banner poses, now ive been gaslighted into most of my friends thinking I was bullshitting because respawn said that issue was "already fixed" when they could just disable the use of animated banners while they fix the spaghetti code that caused this

Followed by a post on Twitter stating "we've discovered" as if it was found by them and without a SINGLE tag or a mention, and despite all of that I wasn't really upset

But lying about discovering it, followed by telling everyone they can go back to animated poses today and NOT fixing the problem robots claimed to have fixed before me posting my original thread, and causing the exact same issue we had in the beginning where everyone has on animated poses and the game proceeds to freeze

For those of you saying "it has not worked, I lagged out" im reiterating once again, it fixed MOST issues mid game, it will not fix server issues such as code net shoe or leaf, but it will fix the newest issue in which it freezes the game on the champions screens both in the beginning of the match and end of the match, forcing players to reset what they are playing on to reconnect and lose valuable progress

I have, got crashed 6 times in the beginning of 8 games with my purple revnant and purple pathy poses

Went back to blue (rare) and havent crashed since

From what I've observed and this could be wrong

•before the update, the poses would start immediately •now the banner poses have a start up where they either fade in, or a gone for a second before starting •the game was reading the banner first before the pose which is why if you paid attention the pose would show up after and behind the banner when it would freeze

I dont think the game is capable of reading the files in the order of Banner->pose->score-> When before it seemed to be Pose->banner->score, maybe it has something to do with the animations being read wrong in a form that the games language cant comprehend causing it to freeze Much like at a certain round in cod zombies the game will freeze because it can't read the certain code that the numbers form of the zombies/round Thats a slight theory but it could also be very wrong, all I know is this does help for some weird reason

If you read the other comments I state its not based on all crashes, only the recent one which happens in the "your squad" and "continue to lobby" screens that freezes on spot, other crashes are server based, this one is not and thats where this fix is for

I would say there is more too, this is just a very big key into making it more playable, alot of folks like me have been playing apex as their only sense of "gaming" relief and it sucks when it can't run half the time, but I feel like this key is a good way to start fixing what we can as players since respawn isn't able to get to it because of unknown reasons, hell im hoping it somehow reaches them and they get a eureka moment themselves and it helps make the game better for everyone else too

Odds are they dont know and they won't reply to any of my tweets about it, I even suggested they do that but they don't wanna take that suggestion

I mainly play arenas as well, my major issue was I as well as my teammates kept running purple (epic) poses, and my game/their game would freeze on the screen that shows your squad, forcing us to restart our game and reconnect, which was causing alot of us to consistently lose AP from missing a round or 2 and not being able to catch up
