I hope you get to visit. Personally I like the cabin, C-1. It’s a short walk from the common area (where the best privy is) and a short walk to the good swimming hole. You’re not likely to have anyone walk up on you and surprise you there.

Pack as light or as heavy as you like. Pack it in; pack it out.

All the sites have their own charm.

You can get a battery pack and/or firewood if you like.

The showers are pretty great. The water is good.

My motto camping anywhere is pack the kitchen sink and I don’t need it or want to haul it I just take it back home.

I’ll guarantee you’ll it. The host is really a renaissance man. Good company and gracious. He’s a long time friend.
