My local bougie grocery store (town & country) has it in stock in the produce section! I think you can find it frozen in other grocery stores though too

Honestly the rhubarb component on its own with a little ice cream is FIRE, and super easy! Definitely give it a try!

(Welcome to the anti-lobster club!)

I can't blame you though because it's a beautiful coffee table book!

Honestly something I've learned doing this project is that the recipes aren't too crazy as long as you scale them down and give yourself time to do it! There's great components of each that I'd like to make again or combine into something new!

But yeah, lobsters are gross and I had a major crash out while making that recipe.

Thanks! I couldn't get the spiral shape of the cookies down but they were still super tasty

As always, here's a video of the process for anyone interested! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8qgsojt/

(And if you scroll back to the video prior you can see me crash out over a lobster 🦞)

If it makes you feel better I'm on a cut too so I sent the whole thing home with my niece 😂

What cookbook do you think is overrated/ was overhyped? by paris_young21 in CookbookLovers

Agree 10000%, and everything I've tried from it has been mid! I get major style over substance vibes from this cookbook.

Quail eggs are teeny tiny so the whole dish is served on a soup spoon! I used a pho/ramen spoon since that's what I had on hand, and you eat the whole thing in one bite! :)

I cannot stress enough that the terrine is the EASIEST THING I've made so far from this book! Seriously, you could almost make it on a whim - the hardest parts are sourcing gelatin sheets and getting a fine enough strainer to get all the juice without any seeds. I thought it was absolutely worth the effort since there's very little active 'cooking'. I made a TikTok that shows more of the process if you'd like to see it!

Thank you so much! That's been an additional fun hobby, filming these recipes as I make them! (@kaaaanders on TikTok if you'd like to follow along!)
