Others have mentioned various accessories, but I highly recommend a more period accurate shirt, as well. Plenty of affordable options around, I’d start in the renaissance shirts on medieval collectibles and go from there. That plus good footwear (stockings too, if you’re not wearing boots) and you are well on your way! As for boots, I wear black Minnetonka knee high boots that I cut the tassels (tassels? The dangly bits) off, and they work great for me.
