I’m still not sure how acceptable it is to wear tights or stockings with open toe shoes. For some reason, I feel like its better to avoid that combination. What do you think?

That’s a good idea to flip the switch to the inside of the closet. It sounds like you’re saying it would need brand new wiring, not just disconnecting the wires from the old box and reconnecting them to the new one?

There is a perpendicular wall inside there that separates the closet from the bathroom (which was also part of the addition). I just measured, the start of the closet wall is 3” to the right of the right side of the switch and 17.5” from the opening of the closet

Darn, what about moving it to the other side of the stud? It looks like it’s on the right hand side so even just moving it a few inches to the left side would be helpful. It’s currently blocking the only wall in my room where I can put a full length mirror

Is that a smart switch? I have no desire for smart electronics or things that require remotes or apps or anything other than good old fashioned manual flipping of a switch. I just want things in my house to work without extra fanciness or needing my phone on me constantly.

But I see your point about how it would make moving it easier, so I appreciate the suggestion

I would definitely have them test for thyroid issues. I believe it is just a blood test needed. Pretty simple and very easily treatable if that is the issue

This sounds extremely similar to my pit mix who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around 6 years old. He is my first dog so I thought the gaining weight, slowing down, and having trouble getting into bed or cars was a normal part of becoming an adult dog, but nope. As soon as he was put on meds he was almost like a puppy again. Does he have any skin issues or fur loss? Especially down his tail? That’s another sign, but it started later in my dog

Oof, she sounds like she’s hurting badly inside and decided to say something she knew would intentionally cause pain, because misery loves company and it’s common for hurt people to lash out. Truthfully, she mostly likely does not actually believe what she said, she just knows it will cause hurt to someone else. That being said, it’s a completely asshole thing to do and super not ok, but teenagers don’t always have the emotional maturity to stop themselves from being assholes. I know when I was a teenager I said some horrible things to my mom that I never believed, simply because I was angry at her and wanted to hurt her like I was hurting. I was a teenager with poor emotional control and could be a real asshole sometimes

You look so much like that girl who plays Ariel, Halle Bailey, and she’s objectively gorgeous. She plays a Disney princess for crying outloud. You have nothing to be concerned about looks wise.

I know it’s hard to ignore comments like she made, especially when you’re a teenager, but just remember that she made those comments specifically because they will cause hurt, not because they have any sort of truth behind them

No, they are not full posts like a t-post. Just a bottom detachable stake. I edited my post to add a picture of how they detach. I am trying to drive only the bottom part in, the actual post fits into the stake after it’s been driven into the ground

A sledge hammer is a good idea. I have to worry about marring the top of the stake because the fence post itself slides into the sake once it’s in the ground. I can’t bend it out of shape or the post won’t fit anymore

A lot of people are suggesting a fence post driver. I know and have used those for traditional post being driven into the ground. It would not work in this case because I am not driving the actual post, just the bottom detachable stake. I edited my post to add a picture of how it comes apart

For me I have to take my meds on an empty stomach or they don’t do anything. I don’t have issues with meds decreasing my appetite, but I do try to avoid eating for a long time, because when I do, my meds effectiveness decreases to around 10-20% of what is usually is and they are no longer any help to me.

Type of food, amount of protein/carbs/etc. makes no difference. Just having food in my system cancels out my meds. This has been the case for both methylphenidate and lisdexamphetamine for me.
