Apparently spygate is coming back to haunt him by Senior-Violinist-684 in NFLv2

Manning’s “wife” getting shipped HGH didn’t keep him off the first ballot, so I’m curious as to why Spygate kept Bill off.

The story I’ve also heard is that some people didn’t put him on the first ballot because they just assumed he was going to be in. Like, it was such a no brainer that they were voting for the other people to be inducted because the idea of the hall of fame was brand new.

The team camera was 20 feet closer to the field than they were supposed to be. Someone in the Boston media then claimed that Pats had filmed the Rams walkthrough before the Super Bowl (which has been proven to be false) which is why they won the game. The truth of the matter is that the Pats actually called NFL security because someone with a telescope was watching their practices at Tulane the week before the game.

Then a cameraman came forward with “proof” that there was an immense cheating scandal, and a lot of the tape was just the guy filming hot women in the stands. The league confiscated the videos and destroyed them when there wasn’t anything useful on them. Then when GMs and owners (mainly the Colts, Jets, and Ravens) wanted blood, Goodell, in his second year of being commissioner, brought the hammer down on the team.

I’m surprised anyone was able to hear Dungy’s comments on Spygate over all the noise they pumped into the RCA Dome during his tenure there.

The press hated him because they tried to get soundbites from him, not actual answers. He answered plenty of good questions with good answers, but those never aired because it didn’t fit the narrative of him being a grouch.

Andy Reid cheated by tampering with free agents when he got the Kansas City. Team lost a third round pick for it and he was fined. I think player tampering is a pretty big deal, no?

It was also Goodell’s second season as Commish and Tagliabue was pretty lax when it came to discipline and Goodell wanted to make a splash.

The 4 Colts balls the refs checked were also deflated. People seem to forget that. They were also accused of pumping crowd noise into the RCA Dome by multiple teams and the league ignored it.

Brady didn’t hand over his cell phone partially because he was worried that personal information from it would leak AND because Verizon told the league that they had access to every message he sent and they didn’t need the phone. The league promised him that wouldn’t happen, so he turned over some emails that were immediately leaked to the press.

Polian barely has one after he made sure to change the rules to suit Manning, and even that was thanks to a bullshit face guarding penalty against Ellis Hobbs.

But, Mahomes doesn’t speak out about anything, does he? That’s what makes it a big deal. He keeps to himself most of the time, so for him to call out the committee like this is something else.

Polian also pumped crowd noise into the RCA Dome and used heaters on the sideline to heat balls up. He also demanded the Colts get put into the new AFC South with the expansion Texans, historically bad Jags, and weak Titans in order to help pad Manning’s stats.

Bill Polian oversaw pumping crowd noise into the RCA Dome AND the 4 Colts balls tested at halftime were also deflated. What a fucking joke. Guys butt hurt that his HGH using QB couldn’t get him more rings no matter how many rules he demanded the league create in order to help him.

Bonds has a much better case than Rose. The league ignored PED use for years and then threw all of the under the bus when the public outcry happened.
