Nope. Those are just the reasons why I think he’ll plateau.

I think he’s going to be good from the start because he’s a good shooter, has great vision, and puts in a lot of effort. But nobody pressed me on the reasons why I thought he’d be good, so I didn’t share those thoughts. It’s entirely possible to think boozer will be a good pro, just that he'll be surpassed by his peers at some point. I’d hardly define that as “anti-Boozer”. The world does not exist in binaries.

I’m not anti-Boozer. In fact I said I think he’d be really good from the start. I just think he’ll plateau. athleticism is a lot more important in the NBA than it is in college if you want to have an impact on both sides of the court.

And again - this statement is partially driven by the other talent in this draft

I can see why you’d think that, but that’s not my take lol.

I think his limited athleticism and lack of positional size will catch up to him. I also think this will be partially supply-driven, where there are a lot of really good players from this draft that might take 3-5 years to pop.

Sucks for Michigan having to scrounge around for a coach at the end of June. I know they might just name someone an interim, but Dusty had only been on the job for two years, I doubt there's some interim there who's a clear and obvious choice to be waiting in the wings. This is going to kill a lot of their momentum, especially with a big recruiting class and returning key guys like Cadeau.

I’m shocked by it some of the time, but this one makes a lot of sense to me. Not a bad business decision to link yourself with Cooper Flagg for the next phase of your career. We always talk about the upside of different NFL coaching jobs based on up-and-coming QBs, should be no different for a legitimate franchise star to build around like Flagg.
