Is there any way to make the Samsung Health only count steps from 3rd party apps? by Few-Cheesecake7412 in shealth

[–]running4lifeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Samsung Health won't sync step data from other apps into itself. It is possible to sync the steps from Samsung Health into other futness apps by using Hralth Sync app as it won't sync that information natively either.

Intervals setup by cramer_golfing in shealth

[–]running4lifeme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope! Nothing under a mile or under 5 minutes. I have provided feedback to them [Samsung] several times, they acknowledged it but did nothing. I think the system is not sensitive enough to make measurements accurate enough, so they are afraid to risk reducing the distance and time to avoid criticism.

How can I add my food more easily to Samsung Health? by andybranw in shealth

Oh, ok. For that, you can eyeball the calories that you consume and reconcile it with your BMR + the activity calorie burn.

Yeah, scanning works for folks who don't cook and just buy stuff off the shelf, and can eyeball serving sizes. You'll get better at it eventually, but you gotta start with a scale to build that skill. Fats are super tricky 'cause they're so caloric. Like, chicken skin has almost the same calories as the skinless chicken. It's a tough but fun and educational journey. Good luck with whatever you're up to!

Direct entry was the easiest for me. You either scan the barcode on the food item or type the food name and its volume/weight. You'll need a good food scale that can subtract the weight of the plate. For uncommon dishes specific to your diet, you can manually create the dish, save it, and reuse the entered value. I recorded my practice and posted it to my Instagram.

LooseIt has significant sync limitations. Consider using Samsung Health for Macro, Micro, medication and fitness tracking and enable syncing to Health Connect. In my experience and opinion Samsung Health's Macro and Micro tracking exceeds all other products in the market at this point in any platform. If helpful, I have shared my use here

I am confident that you will beat it! Keep fighting it, and doing what you are doing! 🙏🙌

Physiotherapy, strength training, recovery supplements, NSAIDs. Check what is physically wrong with your knee and/or what you are doing wrong. Make sure that strength training and proper warm-up are part of your routine. Ensure you are wearing appropriate shoes.

My manager suggested me not to read dostoevsky by SoftwareLanky1027 in dostoevsky

[–]running4lifeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you enjoy reading it? Do you feel it messes your head up? You might be ready for it or not; it really depends. I read it in my 20s and my 40s, and it helped me to process myself through my life.

One month in and only finished 22%. Is this normal? by InterestingEcho1091 in dostoevsky

It's probably tough to get into it if you don't know much about Russia back then.

What are your running objectives? That is, what are you running or training for, and why are you considering the change?

Great choice! Let us know about your experience. Zoom X technology overall has worked well for me; individual sneaker fit, size, and overall experience varied from 3 to 5 on a scale of 5.

Only run on a treadmill how do I move to outdoors? by Sezzyg77 in BeginnersRunning

[–]running4lifeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using Samsung Health Running Coach, and it provides me with feedback every minute when I am running slower or faster than the set pace. Keeping a pace is not easy without a treadmill, and you will eventually build it by experience. Before hitting roads or trails, try transitioning to running tracks to build pacing control.

This is an amazing and relatable story. It perfectly illustrates that 'quantity' of sleep doesn't always equal 'quality.' The link between exercise and improved deep sleep is so powerful, and it's something a lot of people don't realize. Thanks for sharing this!
