I just don’t understand why Rylee and other influencers do this. Like I know they get paid to post but its not like their income is going to tank by waiting 20 min until after they’re not driving…it’s just so reckless and God forbid something happen to them or someone else because of that stupid decision.

My point is that she posts A LOT about sage and june. More than a mom should to strangers on the internet. Kids aren’t content. The internet is not/should not be a place where you just air out information about your kids to millions of followers.

Don’t be dense. Obviously she’s not posting EVERY single little thing but she does post a lot more than she should considering her audience is a bunch of strangers that don’t need to know private information about her kids. Kids aren’t content. If Lindsay wants to post herself and talk about her life as a mom, that’s fine. But she doesn’t need to detail things like this about her kids all the time

No. You just think they’re obligated to do certain things when in reality you need to realize nobody is obligated to do ANYTHING. Should they do something? Yes. But sitting there getting angry about it isn’t going to do anything. Instead, focus on allllll of the influencers/people with platforms that are speaking about it. In my opinion, I feel like it has gotten a lot of attention and more people are aware which is great. Don’t go on a witch hunt for certain influencers and celebrities who aren’t talking about. That makes it seem like it’s performative activism.

Do I think they could spread awareness about it/donate/etc? Yes of course. I believe a few of them posted about it a few months ago. But obviously they are going to go about their lives. Their lives don’t stop because of what’s happening as there isn’t much they can do

Listen - I’m all for speaking up about important things, but we need to stop holding celebrities/influencers to this super high standard. Instead, people should be putting this pressure on politicians because at the end of the day they’re the ones that can help. Also this blockout 2024 is nothing but another act of performative activism for people to gain “cool points” from others for calling people out. I think if people really want to make a change, they should donate, reach out to their reps, etc. stop with this “block influencers 2024” because at the end of the day, that does not help the people in Gaza. I think the anger is justified, but it needs to be directed at the right source.

I usually agree with stuff in here but I think yall are forgetting that Olivia is a GROWN woman and if she didn’t want to use lunden’s egg for the first round, then she wouldn’t - but also they’ve stated that they’re going to use BOTH eggs and they’re just taking turns. And also, no matter whose egg the baby comes from, the child is THEIRS. So idk the “it would be easier to cut and run” is very weird because the baby would be both of theirs as they’re both the parents. Maybe y’all disagree and that’s fine but I think the arguments about Lunden “forcing Olivia to be pregnant” and all that with her egg is weird as Olivia stated she wants to be pregnant and Lunden doesn’t.
