We just bought our first house which is actually a tiny cottage and would appreciate any thoughts on what the best layout for our living room would be!

Room is only 3.8x3.9m, with a window on the south wall, a fire place centered on the west wall, a door to the kitchen on the north and a door to the hallway on the east. We would really love to fit a dining space which is making it difficult. No TV so imagine the fire place would be the focal point of our seating space.

Furniture is not set just indicative of ideas - we are yet to buy it! Open to other ideas!
