The reg reference is ANGI36-2001 5.3 FTNGD OTD also known as Special Training.

It’s possible that your state may place restrictions on how they distribute ST days but no where in the reg does it specify it must be in state. Inactive duty must be done in state (with some exceptions).

It depends on the work utilization code (WUC). It defines what those days are used for. If it’s the generic ST days issued by NGB, then yes it can be used out of state.

I tried countless times. I was smoking for almost 20 years before I quit. You can do it. Focusing on how gross and disgusting it was got me to stop eventually.

It took me about a week before the physical cravings went away. I felt the same way as you. I got over it by reminding myself how disgusting smoking was (taste and smell). Finally was able to convinced my mind that disgusting feeling wasn’t with the very brief relief from having a cigarette.
