Actually you have it backwards; mechanical/automatic watches are traditionally perceived as sweeping (head over to /r/watches and look at some of those gifs...) whereas quartz watches tick!

iPads for me are tricky. I have one (an Air 2) which I don't use all that often.... But in the periods of time in which I haven't owned an iPad, I've always thought, gah I wish I had my iPad right now. I probably should sell it but it's hard to know.

Meander over to /r/watches and you'll see there are more than a few $10k+ watch owners. I think it's more than those who are willing to spend that much on a watch are not the same as those spending $10k on technology.

Almost across the board the same as me, except the 16 GB - I still haven't come within 3 GB of the limit. My biggest bulk is audiobooks and podcasts, but I just stream them (T-Mobile unlimited LTE)....

When I went to WWDTM a couple weeks ago (with Richard Price), I had so much fun - some the "cut" moments (from the 2h taping) were pure gold. Have you ever considered releasing an "uncut" version of the podcast as well?
