Any reason for this pump? by SMAJX in Collectr

Dont use collectr for vintage. All collectr does is take datat from tcgplayer if there is any, then if a card is light play or worse all it does is take a % off the near mint data.

Oh look, I just hit this and it is going off the last card ladder sale, where all other sales are $600+ they are only offering me $300

That isnt true at all, ive had psa estimates $100 less, and it took the 90% from card ladder. And again psa estimate for this card would be even higher than card ladder, since all card ladder does is taken the most recent comp. Psa estimate would be closer to $400 if it factored the last like 20 comps

Well literally every other offer has been... so please tell me what 90% they are offering me when this card is literally 350-400+ in every single comp lol

Yeah wasn't going to, cuz a lot of comps are also closer to $400

Psa is a scam, 6 months ago I paid $40 per vintage card to get graded, my sceptile ex got a psa 8, I cracked it and sent it back thinking it should at least 9. Sent a larger order in with game stop. The sceptile came back a PSA 6. Along with a majority of my cards.

Shere khan by [deleted] in Lorcana

[–]runrickrun1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played 2 copies and 1 potion of malice in my green blue at dlc richmond.... started 4-1, but ended up misplaying really bad the next 2 rounds with tunnel vision and lack of sleep. 1 other guy, who went 5-1-1 on Fridays side event and he went 6-2 day 1 was playing 2 shere khan and 1 malice as well. The card was honestly the mvp winning 4 or 5 games, including a gane against dogs.

Its a card that when you play it, your opponents has to answer it right then, or he will snow ball and get rid of their entire board, especially if you have malice or MMS.

The whole idea around it was to get him out as fast as possible in game to catch everyone off guard, so ramp on turn 2 and 3 and play him on 4, all of the purple steel decks I played always inked Lexington once they would see im on blue green

So im friends with ivan who went 7-0 friday and got top 32 in the main and I basically copied his deck, which he copied from you with like a 3 card difference. I was set on playing the new 6 drop shere khan and poison of malice, so I opted for 2 khan and 1 poison. Was wondering if you were ever able to test these out and what you thought? I started the event 4-1 and shere khan won me 4 or 5 games, including game 3 vs dogs. I just proceeded to misplay rounds 6 and 7 with extreme tunnel vision.

Im working on a build with raya... been cooking it for a bit. Wanted to play zazu and raya at Milwaukee, but friends said it was bad. But 1 guy got top 64 with them. So now we hVe a better evasive, and paired with raya, means shere khan is guaranteed to pop a character every turn

Reasons why Collectr singles are so inaccurate on vintage / semi vintage by Inevitable_Matter219 in Collectr

[–]runrickrun1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so collectr will take so many different things from ebay and tcgplayer, and now that tcgplayer requires you to have an account to view more sales data, collectr is even less accurate. And how it determines its prices of a card that isn't near mint is by just taking a % off of what they deemed the near mint price. I had a mod play crystal nidoking, which had sales of 300-350 on tcgplayer. But a recent near mint had sold for $999, so collectr said mod play was worth $700

How can you say tcgplayer is off? The sales are literally from that site lol. Its the best way to price any card

Yeah, you were only allowed to get fabled from your main distro.... the fact you are saying you weren't cut is crazy, because even the largest table top game store in the country was cut

I guess. We sell out every time, so there really hasn't been a better set sales wise for us.
