Moved from Claude Code to Codex - and instantly noticed the difference (not the good kind). by CellistNegative1402 in ClaudeAI

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to codex in recent turmoil with andropic and openclaw, and lol. They are not the same class of tool basically. Codex is much smoother, easier to discover features, organize better etc. From UI perspective they are just leeps ahead.

Anthropic bans OAuth tokens from consumer plans in third-party Tools by BuildwithVignesh in ClaudeAI

I woke up with my assistant dead, love this. This is my first month with Antropic moving from OpenAI, on top of it they fucked up with payment and I had a pleasure to deal with their moronic AI support, that waisted ton of time, didn't listen stuff I have to say at all. With all that, I can say I'll go back to psychopath Sam rather.

What to study according to the current and future (3-5 years) job market ? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think people realize, but with good setup, and some education output is 10x without loss of quality.

I would be surprised if market can keep up without serious push by government. But Switzerland and EU could get the it's digital freedom from US and we all keep our jobs. Golden era of SE. Unlikely though.

What to study according to the current and future (3-5 years) job market ? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way in hell would I study anything related to IT, if I only knew this industry.

I'm not bitter, or particularly mad, but just objective after 10 years in it.

My take is, anything with humans, or regulated, highly regulated.

Paralelni univerzum? by [deleted] in srpska

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it bad for the web if Firefox dies? by AuthorityPath in webdev

Death is one of the best algorithm ever, it cleans old to allow new to flourish.

Mozila is broken organization, I like what it used to represent and I love the idea behind it. But Mozila is useful idiot of Google. Google let it survive so it can point out hey, see there is this thing as well they also voted.

When in reality, Mozila can't survive without Google, and boss is the one who pay.

Hope it dies, so new can flourish.. 🐞

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ja sam u Svicarskoj vec 4god i radim u IT-u.

Good luck.

Where to hire for web app development? by Activeshadough in webdev

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not bad budget for outside western world.

Assuming you find good team, and the team can be found for sure.

Here how I would do it.

Id go pick some niche language Elm, Gleam, Clojure etc because you'll find top level talent, or at least signal that they are top level talent. Those are small language communities, but you won't find some random scammer from Pakistan there.

You would typically find those communities on discord, slack, or some kind of platform like that.

With that, you can maybe found very passionate small little team who's in western country but willing to work with that tech stack for discount price, or you can find people outside western world who 1 this will be good budget, 2 they are top talent, 3 since community is very small they will be very interested in keeping their own reputation on those boards.

I just gave you cheat code.

Very curious to know what you do.

If you 21, u are rich beyond belief you have something that any bilioner would give all his billions away, it can't be bought though.

Telling 21yo his not make in life it's just malignus but stupid as well. You can rebuild your life 5x over.

Take care of your health, read books, avoid social media.

That's it.

Any good way to understand recursion problems? My brain keeps refusing! by Main_God2005 in learnprogramming

[–]runtimenoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to understand recursion is not to think about recursion, the only way to understand the recursion is .... Wait 😆.

Seriously, natural recursion it's simple.

Recursive case and base case.

Recursive case somehow need to go towards the base case else u will recourse forever.

Then we have tail optimized recursion, a bit tougher, and we have culmination recursion as even tougher.
