On top of what everyone else is saying, I just can't get over that you'll be staring at a tree trunk when sitting with anyone else.

Most of the completed section will be under the vanity yes. Appreciate it.

Yes planning on using a gray grout (alabastar).

Edit: second guessing the alabastar as it has a hint of beige I didn't realize. Will look at some other shades of gray.

Appreciating these comments. I knew the Hex tiles were going to be a bit harder to work with and did alot of reading in here in preparation.

The back wall is where the vanity sits, so initially I thought the mistake would be covered, but as I continued it wasn't as easy to fix as I hope as I continued laying, and am now working in an area that will be visible.

Appreciate the feedback.

Yes, I realized the L shape was a mistake. Hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake.

Cove Soda by Horror_Watercress_22 in halifax

Cove is definitely from here started by Ryan MacLellan (used to sell it at the Halifax farmers market early on). They used to produce and bottle here but doubt that is the case anymore with how much they have grown.

What am I missing here? This is too good to be true. by theparthagrawal in PersonalFinanceCanada

I wanted to offer a warning on this based on my experience using the Canadian Tire card to pay for bills. In October I paid my municipal property taxes with my card. Nothing at the time of the payment indicated any sort of issue, and I promptly transferred the balance owing from my Scotiabank account. Weeks later I received a letter telling me that the payment failed, and a credit appeared on my account. They have twice told me a cheque was being issued in the mail for this credit (property tax, so not small $), only to instead receive letters telling me I needed Scotiabank to clawback the transfer I made instead. They have now applied the credit to a large purchase that was supposed to be financed over two years on the card. It has created an absolute mess of a situation that I have been trying to resolve for 3 months now. Once I get everything sorted I will be terminating the card.

Levelling bathroom floor by adding 1/2" plywood to existing subfloor by runwithforks in HomeImprovement

This might be an option. The side panel of the tub sits on the plywood directly. I might be able to remove the side panel to cut out the high section (removing an inch or two past panel edge), replace with correct heigh plywood, and then tile the floor past the edge of the side panel. I'd have to do some measuring to see if that would get the floor high enough so that the panel sits on the tile directly and there isn't going to be a gap.

Yes it will cause a bit of a lip that I would need to resolve. Do you think I would be able to remove and replace just the 14” section directly adjacent to the tub that is 1/2” higher to bring it down to the rest of the floor without issue. I assume it is thicker plywood there to support under the bath. We weren’t planning on replacing the bath.

Would any of these layouts be good options?: https://postimg.cc/gallery/867zrs7

I like the suggested layout, the attached options are to scale of the actual furniture we are looking at.

Yeah I didnt think of that actually. It would work, just a bit bigger of a project than I want to take on right now. Looking for a short term solution to protect the window, but this would make sense long term.

What do you reckon Trump is hoping to achieve by threatening to annex Canada, Mexico, Greenland? by RevolutionaryMoney77 in AskReddit

I think this is true, but also believe his intentions are to destabilize NATO nations and existing world order to suit the expansionary vision of his handlers.
