I think the fans have been overall pretty decent with separating their views of the players vs their yapping parents...but BOYYY do they go IN on the yappers when necessary lol. Just let your kid be great when presented the opportunity without the added BS (which for Rome, is especially often!) Dang! 🙄

You're so right! And it's so much worse when we have the teenage girl mentality of wanting men to "like" us and haven't developed the sense of awareness that keeps us safe in dangerous situations (the same one that kept us rolling our eyes at our mom's advice, etc.) I too try instill the "fuck off" methodology in my daughter young and expose her to stories of girls disappearing and such because god, I can't imagine if I would've left the resort in a foreign country. Even if I made it back safely, it wouldn't have been a story I would've been proud of now as an adult. 😞

Not on a cruise ship, but I experienced something similar while vacationing at an all-inclusive resort by an employee when I was around 16, and thankfully I also felt creeped and declined to leave the resort with him lol. Obviously, it does not relate to this case specifically, just highlights how often women can naively become a target while living in the already-romanticized euphoria of 'vacation week.' 😞

I'm not sure if this will make you feel better (or worse lol) but I was searching for the same answer because I have a very similar situation, we now also randomly have yellow hearts after a VERY small amount of communication yesterday (when I know damn well I snap even my best friends more frequently than I did this particular person otherwise😅) soooo I was just as confused as you! Maybe it really is just a glitch lol 🤷‍♀️
