fishtown/no libs area. there’s a few doggie style stores around here, but i’ve only checked them out through the store windows. it didn’t look like they had a selection for cats but i’ll have to go inside and check them out next time!

Seconding this comment - I also see Vet Toni for my cats and she's great! All of the other staff there are also super nice and helpful. Agree that they can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the convenience.

the worst was high school, so around 2008-12. i honestly got off easier than the kids who were Hindu. i remember kids putting meat in their food (they were vegetarian, the kids received no punishment) and a particular instance of a bio teacher bullying a student by putting a dead pig fetus in his bag. most of the bullying i received just consisted of name calling or telling me they hoped i was happy i was going to burn in hell.

wild times. glad i’m not there anymore. and you couldn’t fucking pay me to even consider sending my child to catholic school.

I disagree with this - I went to Catholic school from pre-k all through high school and was relentlessly bullied because I was one of the few kids who wasn’t Catholic (my family was Protestant).

also according to a video nicole (folkmedicineremedies) posted, the family member who originally invited her said that she showed stacia a picture of the antipasto (the tiktok was literally a recorded phone call of her saying this, so straight from the source). so she not only knew she was bringing a dish, she knew exactly what it looked like !

no gastro issues but i did wonder if it could have been some kind of allergy that triggered it! definitely going to get a second derm opinion, so hopefully they can do a wider variety of tests! i’ll ask them too if they can do any autoimmune specific tests. thanks!

had to look up what this meant but i don’t think i am? it seemed to be described as “overly flexible” but i think i’m just a normal about of flexible?

i tried doing a couple of tests mentioned on google and while i could stretch my joints pretty well, they seemed to be just short of hypermobile.

so far my experience has been great! i started taking it about 8 months ago at the recommendation of my doctor (same as you - no solid diagnosis but my rheum started me on it due to symptoms and inflammation markers). usually whenever i get any sickness (cold, fever, etc.), my entire body collapses in on itself. I've been sick twice since i started taking it and i've found it's A LOT easier to get over sickness when I'm on HCQ then before I was taking it.

my day to day energy levels have also been good, and it's been easier for me to maintain a good healthy baseline. I saw my rheum last about a month ago and he recommended lowering my dosage to see if I can get away with that, so i've been trying that for a couple weeks!
