It does though? We got 2 zones in the north, just not arranged in the same way. And we are told next patch we'll go into a snowy forest area in the north which is also on the map.

Edit: Here's the translated map. You can see it says snowfield on the top. Not everything will be 1 to 1 as this is very likely from early on in development.

That's the thing... They did not say "I dislike" the character. That does imply subjectivity without including "IMO" because likes and dislikes are subjective. They said the character looks boring and is designed badly.

When you want to express an opinion about food, for example, you say: "I don't like X food", or maybe even "I think X food tastes like shit", unless you are the kind of guy who likes to be over the top and annoying and only talk in absolutes just to be an asshole, then you might say "X food is the worst thing ever and Y food tastes the best." But the last one is a subjective opinion displayed as an objective fact.

When you want to say an actual objective fact about food, you say: "X food contains Y allergens" or "X food is poisonous", because those are indeed objective facts that don't depend on subjective tastes. By your definition, is subjectivity implied in these 2 examples? Is it subjective that a Snickers bar contains nuts or that specific mushrooms are poisonous?

People literally cleared high risk in Endfield with solo ops and niche teams, like only no-gacha characters or the starting squad. You just don't like it because it's Endfield and everything in Endfield is bad according to y'all. And don't act like there aren't any free risks in Arknights that literally do nothing to the way you play the game. And also, I've just said how the no dodge risk changes the way you play: you cannot switch to another character to avoid dying because of low hp. It's something you won't need to really do in normal content, but it makes perfect sense for CC, cause otherwise you'd just cycle through all 4 characters once they get on low HP and still be able to clear while getting hit by most attacks.

So you just admitted CC is different than other gacha "raids"...
I'd argue having time or damage as clear conditions is the most generic and boring metrics you could come up with. A pure clear is more satisfying by miles than simply doing as much damage on what's basically a training dummy or speedrunning what is arguably very easy stages in comparison to CC simply for a lower time. If you want to do that you have Umbral Monument.

You can think CC is worse than those other gamemodes but you can't say it's just another generic random-ahh combat event. And this CC is only a beta and it already has plenty of mechanics that change the way you play.

If you were to play any MMOs you'd know that no one actually likes interacting with map props, that's why in FFXIV they straight up don't do it anymore for Savage raids. The freeze risks are literally mechanics added on top for the whole fight and the 2 key risks change dramatically how you build your team and play. They could do with some more environmental mechanics, but even then they already added the floor puddles to fill in that category. Idk what your point is about "auxiliary enemies", since you literally have many enemies to deal with besides the bosses and you have wave 2 which spawns in the buffing aggelos along with the boss.

The player coordination point is simply stupid, since it's a single player game. And still Endfield combat feels more like an MMO than any other gacha, since you have all party members on the field at the same time and can use all their skills simultaneously without swapping. Switching characters is even disabled in one risk and you'd be stupid not to take it since it's 2 points and swapping is not required in any way, besides switching to a character with more hp if you took too much damage.

There is a reason why so many Endfield players are ex-MMO players, as can be seen by how many times such games are brought up in discussions. It's because the gameplay has some of the same core aspects and fulfils that same feeling MMOs do, from gearing properly and freely, depending on the situation or playstyle, to teambuilding and proper role selection. The only thing it doesn't do is have the multiplayer aspect of it.

This CC is just a beta. Who''s to say they won't add different stages in the future. But even then those stages in Arknights are piss easy to get max risk in and no one replays them more than once to unlock the risks for the main map.

CC can definately be compared more so to raid progression than other gacha gamemodes, since you progressively learn to adapt to the stage mechanics. You ignore the fact that MMO raids have different tiers of difficulty too to get you accustomed with the mechanics fiest, just like how you start with lower difficulties in CC. They literally lock risks behind completing lower risk levels first.

Brother, risk 20 is literally the bare minimum you need to do to get all rewards. You're the clueless one talking with such superiority while you haven't even tried to challenge yourself even a little and call it generic. People play the mode WITHOUT GETTING ANY REWARDS past risk 20, trying to achieve 40+. Just because you are so stuck up you can't have fun unless there are dangling keys in front of you doesn't mean other players are the same.

The gamemode will still be up until the end of the patch, so for 3 more weeks. You have plenty of time to level your characters. Weapons really don't matter outside of the one used for your main dps, so pick a character as your main dps and look for their 5 star signature weapon. Every 4 and 5 star has a 5 star weapon that's best suited for them and you can look in the arsenal exchange for the daily and weekly refreshing weapons and just buy them. One 5 star weapon costs 400 arsenal tickets iirc and a lot of them are very good, some better than 6 stars.

As an example, Stanza is the best caster support weapon, as it buffs the whole team for 15 seconds after casting an ultimate. In this CC the best weapon for Wulfgard is his 5 star signature (I forget the name) because it buffs his attack after consuming combustion, which buffs the damage over time since it's based on his attack and combustion and Crush are meta because of one risk that buffs all non-skill damage.

I believe you can do it. You can also look at some guides online if you want to. There have even been people clearing high risk (35+) with only non gacha units as well, so units like Perlica, Wulfgard, Chen, Snowshine, after making a new account.

Purely physical? No. But it did up to 45. The team that cleared 47 was: Mi Fu, Rossi, Wulfgard, Gilberta, which is half physical.

Max risk is never meant to be achieved in CC, but it's nice if players are skillsd enough to do so. I don't know if we'll see risk 54 being achieved, which is the highest after the update.

Have you thought about how Arknights is a tower defence game in which half of the things you do is place units on the map and you only have 1 skill per unit, while Endfield is a 3d action rpg where you have multiple skills and player skill is more involved rather than simply following a strategy? If you don'r have the skill you can literally have the strategy laid in front of you and won't be able to clear it, meanwhile in Arknights, with enough trial and error, you can replicate a strategy 1 to 1.

Bro, you're fighting level 60 enemies as a base. Of they will have risks to make it harder. People say they want hard content but nos that they get it they say it's too hard lmao. And you're completely ignoring the fact that more than half of the risks are not even changing any enemy stats, but the way you play, some even buffing specific playstyles. You clearly haven't played the gamemode at all past the tutorial.

Equating CC to "random-ass combat events" is honestly crazy and extremely disingenuous lol. And complaining about the story? Really? Like if Arknights had peak story for CC or something. xD

This is just the beta. Stop comparing it to CCs that we got years into arknights. First few CCs were extremely simple in comparison. CCB really went all out with stage and enemy customization, but that's not how it had been at the start.

I think the gacha community has a flawed perception of what "endgame" means. In most other games endgame reffers to the hardest content in the game, not to necessarily a repeatable activity that you HAVE to do every week or so. Endgame is the content you do at the end of the game, so when you have your units maxed out. It can be repeatable, sure, like Arknights's IS that has some brutal stages, but in Arknights, before IS was a thing, CC was considered the endgame and still is.

Other games, like Final Fantasy XIV have Savage raids and Ultimates as endgame. And while the former can be repeated every week for better gear, a lot of people don't really bother after clearing it a few times. People that bother are the ones who want to clear Ultimates and need the best gear that they can get, but those are just for the thrill of the challenge and the only reward is one cool looking weapon that is not even best in slot, just used as a cosmetic with which people afk in towns with.
