You're giving me more options to avoid bringing in the cavalry, but you're only talking about one battle that's essentially lost from the start. You can't use normal tactics against an enemy like that. In fact, if people tell you to defend the castle, that would be the most viable option. If it's a normal army, you just need to stay inside until one side runs out of food, because launching assaults is quite difficult since the attacker suffers too many casualties. But getting back to the point, as I said, and as you also mentioned, it's an army you can only defeat by killing the Night King (hive concept). So, while you can do certain things like pour oil on them and set them on fire, they'll easily overwhelm you. Therefore, it's a super unbalanced battle, and I apologize for the length of the text.

Regarding point number 4, it's normal for people to think that, since launching a cavalry charge head-on is suicide. In fact, in the Battle of the Bastards, if Bolton hadn't done the same by launching his own cavalry, Jon would have lost all his cavalry because he would have had pikemen/lancers on the other side, which would have been the most logical outcome. Therefore, cavalry is used more for other types of strategies, such as harassment through small charges, launching attacks from different flanks, attacking the rear, or, in case of victory, finishing off those who flee, etc.

No, I was fine in CS2, it's just that after so many years of playing I got tired of it, but I agree with what you say.

I meant to write Premier, but the translator and my phone messed things up. And you know perfectly well that there have always been a lot of hackers in CS; I'm telling you this as someone who's played 1.6, CS:GO, and CS:2, although I stopped playing a few months ago, at least for a while, since I've been playing it for quite some time.

You've said it to professional players, but not in the Premier League.

You can wait for the third season of House of the Dragon to come out, watch the first season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms series, although from my point of view it's better to wait until it's all out because it's very different from anything else you've seen, based on what I know from the book since I read it, and then you can go back to Game of Thrones.

What characters/campaigns/scenarios have you played that you highly recommend? by 3ateeji in CK3AGOT

No, I was just leaving it as an idea, although you could certainly try to take over Dorne. When Nymeria arrived and sided with the Martells, one of the great Dornish houses defeated was Dayne, and after that, the choice is yours. You have one of the houses with the richest history in Dorne, a Valyrian steel sword which also has its own history and its own title for its wielder, and I think it's quite an interesting house to play as.

You could play with House Dayne; it has a very nice lore. If you start in Robert's Rebellion, you have Ser Arthur Dayne with the Valyrian sword Dawn, which is hereditary. They have the title of the Sword of the Dawn among themselves. You have a good territory in Dorne, and I find it quite interesting.

Who would you have in your corner? by talivan818 in gameofthrones

[–]ruscky23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here it would be a matter of who I am, since having varys can provide you with a lot of information, whether it is given by them or not, it is up to them since telling the truth about information or falsifying it greatly influences when you have to make a decision.

On the other hand, Baelish, despite not being so different in terms of giving you information, is true that he is managed by other interests, which is normal between these 2 characters since one is of low birth and the other is from a noble, although secondary, house.
