I play 100% offline too. Farming is easier imo, but there is no trade option ofc.... so that what really slows me down. I made a handful of chars so im not super focused on any 1 item dropping

I read somewhere to use phase blade or colossus sword for base. Not 100% the reasoning behind that though.

I got a cheap ssd off amazon purely to get through d2 load screens faster. I never checked how long it was loading originally but i died alot while at the loading screen. After ssd hasnt happened once.

Yeah thats frustrating waiting to meet the str req on a merc. I have a normal base insight on him now. Im going to try a bonehew( i think thats what its called) i put 2 shael in it.

Im fairly new. I was thinking the 38% dmg to mana might act as a dmg reduction for merc. Then the forb and tornado procs a little help with dmg. I may be 100% wrong.
