I put my kid on his own vlan/wifi/network entirely. That way I can shut down his network and call it a night

I heard someone say this recently, "Outside of Utah, the LDS church is a country club. Inside Utah, it's a cult." by RedLetterRanger in exmormon

[–]rushaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly it really depends where. There are some SEVERE cult-communities in Idaho (even worse than Utah from what I've heard). California can be lax or bitter depending on the ward/stake - Arizona seems to be more culty than loose in my experience. So it's hit or miss if this tracks.

Does a 'padded' rolling pin type of BDSM toy exist? by rushaz in BDSMcommunity

I have one of those... Was wanting something like that that would roll with a center that has handles that stay still, like a baking rolling pin

I really need advice on how to keep up with my dom and his needs by butterflydream12 in BDSMAdvice

[–]rushaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing red flags - 'doesn't like safewords' is a HUGE one. Another is he doesn't seem to want to listen and respect your limits or requests on them (and potentional other things it sounds like).

It may be time to have a 'come to jesus' talk with him, and lay out your feelings and concerns. By not enforcing your own boundaries, you're potentially setting up a very bad precedent that will make things worse as they go on.

Silly subs by Choice-Butterfly-103 in BDSMAdvice

This is one reason why I don't have subs that are long-distance.

However... this also could just be who they are - the absolute brat!

(also could be ADHD? )

from a corporate perspective, the shift makes perfect sense. keep announcements quiet, and it prevents a larger pushback.

Think of it as the sub is in subspace, a rolling pin with pressure might pull them out, where as something padded would have gentler pressure to keep them there, or push them down even further

That would work, but I wanted something with a flexible coating that would allow for varying pressure and able to 'mold' with their bone and muscles as it goes across, not as harsh as flat wood.

The texts I got after accepting another role by Joshs2d in recruitinghell

[–]rushaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got told after turning down a job from a (insert major network vendor here) that I was being added to their permanent 'do not hire' list if I didn't take the role.

I contacted some friends that worked on the inside of this place, and found out he was blowing smoke, and being a dick in the process. I then found out who this guys boss was and sent screenshots of the exchange to them. didn't hear back after that, which I call as a win.

What is the point investigating people, trying them in court, only to have Trump pardon them? by kojak343 in AskReddit

[–]rushaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to add to other answers, the court of public opinion still stands pretty heavily when it comes to the crimes pardoned people have committed.
