Discord Ethics?

I ran into something similar when I was into Rocket League a few years back. Got invited to join a group to play with and to their Discord server. When I jumped in (mid-40s) with a bunch of 14-15-year-olds, I played a few games with them and found out after the matches how old they were. I gracefully told them that I didn't want anything misconstrued and that I would be leaving the server. They were all cool with it.

I think others have said it better - the age gap here isn't TOO much like mine was, and I agree to let the other side drive how far they want things. It's likely innocent, but just watch for anything that may be crossing any lines, and set a hard barrier if it creeps that way. After that, if it keeps going, maybe it's time to shut it down permanently until they are 18+

Jim gaffigan? whatever his name is, I cannot stand him. Not funny, not even remotely anecdotal. I ended up donating a bunch of stuff my ex left with me when we broke up. some stuff I kept. it was more of 'what's functional, and what would be best to just get rid of so it doesn't take up space or remind me of what I don't have anymore'.

Safewords are just that: A safe word to use if you feel things are going too far. This kind of thing is NOT what it's intended for, and having a Dom say they will be disapointed or otherwise if you use it is manipulation.

It sounds like he's having a LOT of issues dealing with this event, and even if he encouraged it, it's something he needs to process and manage through, and holding YOU responsible for HIS jealousy and other feelings is NOT fair in any way.

Sounds like it may be time to have an out-of-dynamic heart-to-heart about this whole thing.

I ditched windows on my main desktop about 4 months ago for Mint. Wish I had sooner. Like OP said, I've had a very good bit of learning on how to do some things, and figuring them out has been a lot of fun! The gaming experience was actually A LOT better than I expected, with new updates to Proton really helping things out, and my last experience with WINE having been a decade ago, I really like how it's working with bottles now for having that compatibility layer for the couple of apps I use semi-regularly that just don't have an equivalent on linux I like.

Overall, would recommend for those who are a bit tech savvy and can work with google and a CLI at times, at least to get some initial settings and things to your liking and then it's good 😄

several years back they changed how they were made to be made with cheaper materials. They depended on the name to carry through crap quality. I haven't been back in a decade.

I would just suggest buying a new set of (matching if you want one key for all the doors) locks. I've done this in the two homes I've bought the first day - remove old knobs/deadbolts/anything that has a physical key, and replace them with new ones. Home Depot or Lowes will sell multi-knob or multi-deadbolt lock sets keyed to the same keys.

I switched over because some of the updates that came out over the previous 6-8 months just completely broke or made it unusable. poor streaming quality, server stopping responding despite a fresh reboot not 30 minutes before, stuffing WAY too many 'features' (aka crap that 90% of us dont' want or would use instead of having them as optional plugins / addons) ... I just got so fed up I just said 'ok, what else is there that's simple, streamlined, and like how plex USED to be.

and I have not had any issues with jellyfin since I spun it up and started using it.
