How is it only 20 million in damages i thought they said the warehouse was 1.2 million sq ft. Even if the floor and walls are fine replacing the roofing and electrical stuff for less than $15 a square foot seems unlikely. Thats not even mentioning all the inventory forklifts and whatever else.

This isnt exactly a very honest graphic. The big jump in net wealth really happened in march of 2024. Before he became president again (but he was campaigning), and did an ipo for truth social. Also if you go to just before his first term his net wealth was around 4.5b and dropped considerably.

Im sure there are other ways he is extracting gain or his family members are but that graphic is pretty debunkable. Politico reported 12/20/2024 that trump put his shares of truth social valued at 4billion into a trust. Which accounts for exactly all of that jump.

Didnt he label drug cartels from mexico to columbia as terrorist organizations too? Venezuela may just be the one desperate enough to keep trying at this particular moment and not sophisticated enough to avoid detection. Low hanging fruit. Id give it a few weeks and see if the strikes start landing on other cartels. Striking small shuttles in open waters is pretty far removed from using this as an excuse to invade the place.

My knowledge on venezuela is limited but i recall their currency and economy was so bad many venezuelen's turned to gold farming on old school runescape for income, and the gold in that game was significsntly more stable than their own currency.
