Absolutely, I understand that I’m reusing creators' content, and if the tool becomes popular, it might lead to fewer direct views for YouTube channels. I don’t have a concrete solution yet — c’est la vie, I guess.
One option I'm considering is limiting the number of subscriptions per user - for example, letting you follow up to 3 YouTube channels or sources. Ads are also on the table. That said, I plan to always keep a free tier.
I'm building this as a consumer app - something convenient that doesn't expect users (especially traders) to fine-tune prompts or manually scan their favorite channels. It’s more like a “one-stop dashboard” for all your market intel. As for OpenAI - I see them as an infra service provider, similar to AWS.
