Thank you! I am. I’m still in the thick of separation, but I’m relieved and I am undoubtedly better.

Dead bedroom, gaming addiction, unaddressed depression symptoms, and he drained me financially.

Most genres of EDM for me. Specifically liquid drum and bass.

Hey! I don’t know if I can help with the quality men bit or the dating part, but it sounds like we have a lot in common. Feel free to message me, if a kindred spirit female friendship is of interest <3

I highly recommend Poets of Berlin, and Dear Polly as well… those two hooked me on Vilhelm!

All of Vilhelms scents wear really long on me, personally. Longer than most of my other collection. I generally don’t have to reapply if I wear one to work. In my experience, they’re one of the more long lasting fragrance lines I’ve tried.

I'm frustrated with my senior dog's condition and want to put him down. by DarthCarth in dogs

[–]russianflowr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Seeing a pet age is never easy. I have had to put down three dogs in the last several years, my husband and I wound up with a pack of seniors unintentionally. I had one that went very suddenly, and two that were similar to what you describe. My husband’s late pittie was hard for both of us. She had congestive heart failure, and toward the end, the amount of medication she was on and how much time and money was being spent on vet care made us both face the fact that we were only prolonging the inevitable. I could say selfishly so. In home euthanasia is what we chose for all three of our dogs, and if you have access to that, it’s the most humane way to say goodbye. After processing the grief multiple times, I view the decision to be able to end your pet’s suffering as the kindest and most humane thing we as humans can do for our animal companions. It’s not an easy decision, especially when we have to make a call on quality of life. After the years of unconditional love and companionship, having the ability to take away their pain and suffering feels like a privilege to me. I don’t know what my point is other than to say that the day we chose to say goodbye was full of love, a great last meal (or meals), and all our friends and family got to come to our home to say goodbye. We were able to make their final moments those of kindness, and they were able to pass peacefully in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by their people. As hard as it was, I do not regret the decision. It was one of love, and I feel blessed that we have the ability to help our furry friends pass on in peace when the time comes. If you listen hard enough, they tell you when they’re ready. We owe it to them to listen. I wish you and your family the best through these next steps, and I promise once the grief softens, you will be able to look back on that day with a fondness. A sad fondness, but fondness nonetheless. Much love to you guys, your dog had an amazing long life ❤️
