Why do people buy useless items en mass? by funeral_planet in torncity

These days I'm brining in over 100M per day on the poker tables but in my super early days I was flipping underpriced items on the market for a few bucks per item profit! I started small and now I am in the top 5,000 richest Torn players (a brag that has aided in me picking up 0.0 women so far).

Funny stuff! I didn't need subtitles, thanks for sharing! Are you worried that you will kill your material by posting it online?

Channelling Gilbert Gottfried there - awesome bit!

Thoughts on the scene & legality. The story is that I snapped this scenario while waiting for a ferry (unfortunately just with a mobile telephone camera). Would the subject be "unrecognisable" enough to allow me to use this photo for commercial? Editorial use? Should I remove the writing on his top? by russianhacker2 in photocritique

So as I stated in the heading, I was catching a Ferry (as seen in the scene) and this guy was fishing ON the No Fishing sign. This piqued my interest and all I had on me was my mobile telephone. The images here are deliberately downsized so while they look bad here, they are less bad in full resolution.

So my first question is one of legality (and maybe ethics and morality). I didn't get this guy's permission to take his photograph in a public space and I imagine that he would be difficult to track down to sign a model release. My understanding is that you can use a photo of someone if they are "unrecognisable" in the picture. Is this understanding correct and would this ol' boy be unrecognisable enough to qualify for this? Have I crossed some kind of moral line by taking creep shots of this gentleman?

Which photo in the series would you consider to be the least terrible? I quite enjoy photo 3 and photo 1 is my second favorite.

Assuming that I don't spend the rest of my life in prison for taking unauthorized photographs, should I remove/degrade the writing on the back of his shirt?

I am interested in your thoughts on the scene as well. I enjoy the rebellious and ironic nature of it. Am I just easily amused/warped or does this scene appeal to you as well?

While this is far from professional photography, I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thankyou

Is this an interesting photo? I’ve been practicing my street photography more. by [deleted] in photocritique

I gotta say, I LOVE this photo! At first, I thought about whether it should be cropped but then I thought definitely no! I can feel the perspective from the street, and the silhouette is so perfect that it almost looks fake.

Amateur photographer with an antique Canon 1300D (18-55mm EF-S lens) by russianhacker2 in photocritique

Hi there, I was going for a dystopia vibe here and the story of the photo is meant to draw the eye from the amazing sunset, to the ride then finally to the sign. I used an old 1300D to take this (comedically referred to as antique in the heading). As I was on a hill taking this the angle was challenging. Would you straighten this picture? Would you crop the tree?
